Hi!!

MK, so this is a pet regression story.

In this specific one, Wally is an age regresser and a pet regresser (like me!!), and it's like an already known thing.

Wally: Pet/Age regresser
Barnaby: Caregiver
Poppy: Kind of also a caregiver

So this is just gonna be cute, enjoy!!

Wally sat next to Barnaby criss-cross on the couch in Poppy's house watching a show on tv.

It had colorful unicorns helping each other learn new lessons with friendship as the overall lesson. Wally was completely enveloped in the show and Barnaby watched the little one while softly petting his loose and undone hair.

Another episode started and this one was about the unicorns helping a family of foxes and working together to help them find a new home. Wally babbled happily when the foxes came on, almost dropping his pacifier out of his mouth and pointing at the screen towards the foxes.

"Do you like foxes buddy?" Barnaby asked lightly chuckling at the little ones babbling. He shakes his head no, seeming frustrated, then points slightly aggressively towards the foxes, then at himself a couple times.

"Oh, I see, are you my little fox?" Barnaby asks, realizing what he is trying to say. Wally excitedly nods, and bounces up and down making cute little noises.

"Aw, come here little fox, you're so cute, let's go get you a fox snack, k?" Barnaby stands up and lets the little one jump into his arms, then starts to carry him against his side, bringing him into the kitchen.

"Poppy, Wally is pet regressed and wants a snack, is it ok if I give him something?" Barnaby asks the other as he comes up to the island in the kitchen, setting the now scrambling boy sitting on the counter, due to his dislike of the floor and proper chairs. Poppy was busy mixing together a bowl of ingredients and the smell of multiple baked goods being baked could be smelt through the air.

"Oh, don't worry hun, I can make him something!" She replies, as upbeat as always, she then turns to Wally, " What would you like hun?" She asks smiling.

Wally made grabbing hands at Poppy, touching her wing and insisting to be picked up.

"Ok, ok, hold on love, let me set this down first." Poppy set the bowl down and then picked up the little fox, holding him in a mother-like way. Then brought him over to the fridge and opened it, letting him look inside. He pointed at a container of blueberries, and the bottle of milk.

"Do you want berries and your special milk?" Wally nodded then pointed at the already made baked goods on the counter.

"Well love, I don't know if you should have only sugary stuff, maybe something else too?" She asked softly, not wanting to make the little one sick from sweets. Wally tilted his head, which made Poppy giggle.

"Oh, don't worry hun, I'll make up some food for you, and I guarantee you will like it, ok?" Wally happily nods, then makes grabbing hands at Barnaby as Poppy turns around.

"Go play you two, I'll call when it's ready." Poppy hands Wally back to Barnaby and softly waves them off.

"Thanks Poppy." Barnaby smiles, then he looks at the boy in his arms then makes a small gesture towards the other.

"Dank you momma!" Wally exclaimed, grabbing Poppy's wing and slightly hugging it for a moment.

Barnaby carried Wally back into the living room and sat him on the floor in front of the tv, then sat down next to him and grabbed his bag of little items.

He pulls out Wally's toys he chose to bring and sat them down on the ground.

"Ok buddy, what do you wanna play?" Barnaby asks looking at the other starting to set up his toys.

"I wanna play house!" Wally says and he hands Barnaby a horse toy and a small doll.

"Dat ones da momma," he says pointing at the horse, "Nd dat ones da adoptnd son!" He finished pointing at the doll.

"And what's your role love?" Barnaby asks, half knowing the answer already.

"I'm the scary fox!!" Barnaby chuckles as the expected answer is spoken.

"So mister scary fox, are you gonna attack these helpless people?" Barnaby questions, dramaticly putting his hand to his head.

"Yes!!!" Wally pretends to attack the toys and Barnaby, using silly fake voices, acts like the toys being attacked.

"Boys! Time to eat!" Poppy calls from the other room. Wally climbs into Barnaby's arms and they go to the kitchen, sitting down at the island.

Poppy puts plates down in front of each of them. Wally's has berries, small bite-sized cheese crackers, a sandwich with the crust cut off and cut in half, and a small pastry. He is given his sippy cup of special milk soon after. Wally looked over the counter, thanked Poppy, and then started eating.

Wally finishes his food and then stretches and yawns. "You tired buddy?" Barnaby asks the smaller one, to which he is answered with a sleepy nod. The big dog scoops Wally into his arms and brings him to the couch, he lays him down and grabs a pillow and blankets from the side of the couch, putting the pillow under the other's head and the blanket over Wally's body.

As Wally flutters his eyes shut, Barnaby says, "Goodnight my little fox."

Sorry this took a bit, I have been pretty busy, surprisingly.

But I hope you enjoyed and I will try to get some more chapters out sooner rather than later.
