I honestly wasn't expecting to be forced to clean the science lab alone with Julian after Ms Kok took us to her office for her so called discipline. The full dread in my stomach hurts as I think back, I hurt my friend... All because of some jerk who couldn't wait to attack me. I'm going to get back at him and it's going to hurt, but until then, all I can do is try to apologize to Lisa. I pull out my phone out of my pocket and message her. I message her countless times. All ignored, I plead with her to respond but no reply.
I decide I should probably start cleaning and stress about the situation later. I put my phone back into my back pocket and grab a bucket and a cloth from the corner of the room.
"Dude, I just meant to say sorry for earlier, I didn't mean for Lisa to get hurt honestly" Julian voiced from behind me, I look back to see his face, which had a tiny smirk plastered upon it. "Oh so you're sorry cause Lisa is hurt? Why start the fight in the first place, and over something so small." I respond anger growing inside of me. He can not possibly think such a small apology is going to fix everything, does he? "I'm sorry okay, I was just too into the moment and overreacting...I'm just trynna be chill." he sighs from behind me. "Why do you wanna be chill all of a sudden like you didn't wanna kill me earlier?" I groan as I also wipe down the desk I chose. "Because..." he started, I turn around because I am generally intrigued now. "Because...?" I ask raising an eyebrow as him, leaning on the desk behind me.
"Because I want Monica ok, and she's friends with you so I just thought that maybe..." he lets out dropping the cloth back into the bucket that was next to him. So he wanted to use me?! I was not about to let Monica pursue anything with him. He was probably going to use her and leave her when he is done like nothing happened. "So you were just going to use me to get some pussy?!" I shout towards him trying to drop the cloth in the bucket but it misses and lands next to it. "Don't think of it like that David, I do want her but we can also be friends." he voiced, also be friends?? He was just using me. "Oh sure, she likes someone anyway, so Goodluck with that." I lie through my teeth, Monica is not the type to crush on someone, she likes to keep her options open unless of course, he is the perfect guy. I was too angry to stay and hear this guys response. I leave all the stuff the way they are and storm out of that room. I knew my gut feeling was right, he's a fucking bitch.
I decided to go and see if Lisa was willing to talk now. I knocked on her door, after what felt like forever, she finally opens. The short girl standing Infront me. She looks up and rolls her eyes once she saw me. She tries shutting the door shut but I stop it with the heel of my shoe. "Lisa can we please just talk?" I ask her, she opens back the door and looks me in my eye. Her eyebrows slightly creased. "Talk." She spoke as she folds her arms and leans on the side of the wall. "I'm sorry Lisa. Truly. I didn't mean for any of this to happen, please forgive me?" I sigh looking down at my feet. I waited for a response for a while. "Is that all?" she sternly asks. I nod as I look up to see a face of annoyance on her face. she sighs as she just shuts the door in my face. It was worth a shot atleast.
