Chapter 12: Demon Princess
The Next Morning in The Kagamine Manor
Rin Kagamine's POV
After we had breakfast, we were hanging out in the living room, trying tk find something to do.
"*sigh* What to do?" Miku said as she plays around with her hair.
"Meikoooo Where's Hakuuuu???" Neru whined but got no reply from Meiko.
"She's probably in her room, sleeping.. She must've been tired from the practice..." I said.
Len suddenly bursted out with an 'Aha!'
We all raised an eyebrow at him.
"Found something to do Len?" Teto asked, getting curios. Len nodded, we were all excited to hear what he has to say. We stared at him patiently.
"I think we should go to the Spirit World!" Len exclaimed.
Spirit World? Sounds interesting...
"Sure why not?" I said, shrugging my shoulders.
The others seemed to have agreed.
Nanami Lionheart's POV
Len-nii-san told us that we are going to the Spirit World, where Lord Koenma is. But I'm afraid that Rin-nee-san won't like it there, since she kinda hates Kurama-nii-san. I feel sorry for them, especially for Kurama, he has to go through so much pain.
As soon as we entered the portal, we were transported to the Spirit World. We stood in front of very huge castle gates, They were huge alright. The gates were opened by Koenma's workers, the ogres.
As we entered, we saw a lot of ogre's going in many directions with papers stacked up on their hands.
I heard Rin-nee-san giggled as she saw them rushing in many directions. Well it looked funny to see them. We were greeted by none other than Botan-nee-san! I turned to look at Rin-nee-san only to see her expression change.
Botan-nee-san laughed nervously and cleared her throat as she gestured us to follow her. She looked like she didn't want us here. As we walked through the busy place, Botan-nee-san asked us a question.
Third Person POV
"What with the sudden visit?" Botan asked, breaking the silence between the group. "We just wanted to visit Botan, since we had nothing fun to do.." Yomio replied.
"Oh, well.. Let me lead you all to Lord Koenma's office.." Botan said as she quicken her pace.
After walking, they finally arrived in front of Lord Koenma's office, upon entering the office, they heard the voice of Lord Koenma who was discussing about something to the Spirit Detectives.
"Lord Koenma..." Botan said, gaining the attention of Lord Koenma and the Spirit Detectives. Kurama's eyes widened as he saw Rin, beautiful as ever.
(A/N: Koenma is in his teen/adult version alright?)
"Ah~ Len, nice to see you again, Demon Prince.." Lord Koenma said as he stood up from his seat and walked up to Len before giving him a manly hug. Lord Koenma noticed Rin and broke the "manly" hug. He turn his gaze to Rin and lifted her hand, only to kiss it.
Kurama watched in jealousy while Rin blushed from this action.
"Nice to meet you again, Demon Princess.." He then walked back to his seat, he felt Kurama's glare at him.
Teto and Miku were trying their best not to tackle their boyfriends since they were still working. (A/N: I do not know if you call this work... but moving on!) Botan bowed before walking out of the office.
"Now, I want you to catch this demon immediately before it takes more innocent lives.." Koenma says in a stern voice as a picture of an ugly demon appeared. Miku, Yomio, Nanami and Teto shivered in disgust by the looks of the demon while Neru was still calm.
"We can help..." Rin said, the others then turned their gaze to Rin, who stood firm. "That won't be necessary princess.." Lord Koenma said. "Nonsense Koenma, it does look like you need help.." Rin said, walking to Lord Koenma's desk.
Lord Koenma sighed and gave up, he allowed the princess and her friends to help with the mission. Kurama felt like he wanted to jump in joy, but he kept his composture.
Miku and Teto ran to their boyfriends and gave them a hug, they were about to kiss when they were interrupted by the sound of someone clearing his throat. They turned to Koenma. "And please don't do that while you're in the mission.." HE said before going back to his paperwork.
The rest giggled at the couples as they walked out of the office. Kurama kept his gaze on Rin as they walked out off the palace.
'Why would she do this?' Kurama thought.
Rin turned to them and placed her hands on her hips as she stopped them in their tracks. "Tell me where we can find this demon..." Rin said, looking at each of the Spirit Detectives.
"There were recent sightings of a demon back there at the Human World, why not go there?" Yusuke suggested. The others nodded in agreement as they walked through the portal.
Back at the Human World.
They were currently standing in front of an abandoned building where Yusuke says that there were recent sightings. Without hesitation, Rin started to walk in.
"Rin-chan! Shouldn't we pair up?" Miku said, Rin stopped walking. "I'd rather go alone.." she said in a cold voice before walking in the abandoned building.
Miku sighed and looked at Rin as she enters the building, she turns to face Kurama. "Kurama, please follow her.. I do not want her to get hurt.." Miku said.
Kurama nodded and ran after Rin in the building. "And the rest will pair up and search the building!" Miku ordered.
Rin Kagamine's POV
As I entered the building, I wasn't faze at how creepy it looks, I'm a demon for pete's sake! As I continue to walk into the building, I heard footsteps coming near me.
I turned to see Kurama, my eyes were wide. 'Why is he following me? Didn't I tell him to stay away?' I thought.
"What do you want Kurama?" I said, crossing my arms. He sighed and told me that Miku told him to follow me. 'Oh Miku...'
"Looks like I don't have a choice do I?" I muttered. Kurama looked at me, waiting for me to answer.
"Fine, you can come with me."
And with that, we continued to explore the creepy building.
After hours of searching.
We finally gave up, we couldn't see the demon, we searched like almost everywhere but still no sight of the demon.
We then met outside the building.
Yusuke runs his hands through his black hair.
"Koenma is surely gonna kill us.." Yusuke says.
Just before I was gonna say something, I was lifted high in the air.
"WTF?!"
