Chapter 2: Project: Bring Rin's Memories Back!
Third Person POV
In the last chapter, the group was informed by Len that Rin, who was stabbed in the heart and died, was alive. When they went to her room, she really was alive, Nanami, Miku,Teto and Neru were overjoyed to see Rin alive again, but what happened next was shocking, it seemed that Rin has forgotten who they were.
Rin Kagamine's POV
I woke up, only to see my mama and papa beside me, smiling.
"Mama! Papa!" I said as I hugged them, and then they hugged back.
I pulled away and stood up from my bed.
"Hey don't forget me, I'm part of the family..." A familiar voice said.
I turned to see my twin brother, Len Kagamine.
I smiled and said "Hey brother.."
Suddenly I heard my name being called, I turned to see 4 girls with different hair colors, one was blue-green, one was white, one was a dark blonde, one was magenta (dunno if that is the color of Teto's hair), I looked at them with a confused face.
They had outstretched arms, and it seems like they were planning to hug me, then they stopped in front of me, with their outstretched arms, and I think theu are waiting for me to hug them back.
"Sorry....But.... Who are you people?" I asked, with a confused face.
The happy faces of those four girls changed into shock faces.
'Did I say something wrong? I have no memory about these people...But the redhead is very familiar...' I thought.
I turned to mama and papa, they were also shock, including my twin brother Len.
"What's the matter?" I asked, hoping to get a response at least from one of them.
"Y-You don't remember them?" Mama asked, pointing at the four girls in front of me, with worried faces now.
'Wow they change expressions so fast..' I thought.
I then shook my head 'no'.
Mama gasped while Papa was pondering.
'Did I say something wrong?' I thought.
Suddenly, the white haired girl suddenly bursted into tears, crying.
"Wah!!! Rin-chan is a meanie! She's playing a joke on us and it's not funneh!" She whined.
"Please calm down! I really don't know you people!" I said.
"Wah!!!! Rin-chan did forget about us!!!! Wah!!" She cried again.
"Calm down Nanami..." Len said, trying to calm her cousin down.
'Nanami?' I thought, then a flashback suddenly popped in my mind, it was blurry but me and the white haired girl were playing tag.
Third Person POV
"Don't tell me that something happened to her when she was a spirit..." Yomio said. (XD totally forgot about her!)
Kurama stayed silent, clenching his fists.
Lunette sighed and walked to the group and the motioned for Miku, Nanami,Teto, Neru and Len to huddle.
"I don't think that this is a good time for you guys to enter... She has lost her memory for some reason..." Lunette explained.
"But how come she can remember her parents and Len?" Yomio asked.
"I don't know, and I was sure that me and Kaizo did the spell correctly... Something is up.." Lunette said.
"We'll be going now Lunette-sama.." Miku said.
Lunette nodded and then the group left the room, leaving Rin and her parents.
To the group
It was silent, yep, no one spoke after their encounter with their 'dead' friend, Miku, Neru, Teto and Nanami were down on the dumps ever since.
"I can't believe it.." Yomio said, breaking the silence.
"Why did Rin-chan forget us?!" Nanami exclaimed, tearing up.
Miku then stopped walking, Hiei noticed this and stopped walking too.
"I won't accept this.." Miku muttered, gaining the attention of the group, making them stop walking too.
"I won't accept this... I can't just stand here and do nothing while my bestfriend is suffering... I just can't accept this.." Miku said, looking down.
Hiei sighed and patted Miku's back while blushing and looking away.
Miku noticed this action and lifted her head up.
"We will bring Rin's memories back... So don't worry.." Hiei said, still looking away.
Neru, Teto and Nanami looked at each other and then to Hiei and Miku, "We can do that!" They said in unison.
"Project, Bring Rin's Memories Back is gonna be under way!" Botan exclaimed.
Miku smiled and said, "Thank you.."
