Just Friends?

Author's pov:

Taehyung and jungkook are best friend since they're in diapers. They did everything together and grown has close as their mothers. But is it only friendship?

Tae's pov:

Kookie and I have been besties for as long as I can possibly remember, I mean, our moms have been friends since kindergarten, and to be honest I've always seen them hang out at least twice a week.

Last week, kookie's family came to hang out with us. He arrived in the most handsome outfit possible, his daily oversized hoodie, which I could literally fit in with him. Those large yet well fitting black pants, who I can assure are from his brother Yoongi and his little round glasses that make him look so smart.

Once they arrived, we both went to my bedroom to go play some video games like always. We were playing my favorite game, and after a while, I just felt a sleepy jungkook on my shoulder. He fell asleep there for about forty minutes. It honestly felt like heaven. To be honest, I think I felt those so-called butterflies for the first time.

Jk's pov:

Last week we went to tae's place. We went in his bedroom to play so video games, but I was so tired due to not sleeping all night I fell asleep on his shoulder, what he doesn't know is that I've been liking him for the past 5 years. And that night I was preparing a time to hang out and ask him out.

Flashback
5 years ago:

Tae and I were at my house and we were hanging out, at that time we were about 12 years old, I was just finding out about what are feelings and those types of things. That day was like every Sunday, playing outside and running around, and we just ran into eachother, I can remember so well my cheek getting cut and taehyung being unconscious due to hitting his head. I think I've never been this scared in my life. We all rushed to the emergency room. All the time he was in the hospital bed I stayed by his side and even if my mom tried to get me home I wouldn't budge. That's when I realized it wasn't just friendship. That night I had to leave I placed a peck on his forehead and pulled the sheets. I can vividly remember tae's mom saying to mine "they're made for one another, no one could treat tae like that beside us 2 and jungkookie. They're soulmates". That night when I arrived home from tae's place, I thought about what tae's mom said, and realized I want tae to be mine forever.

Back to the real time

Tonight is the night, tae and I are going to hang out at our favorite Cafe, when we're gonna arrive, we'll order the same thing as usual and I'm gonna ask him out. Tonight is the night we're gonna make our moms happy.
