This was supposed to be Sonic x male reader but it's kinda just sonic x reader 'cause other then characters referring to Y/N as He/Him (which doesn't happen often because there's not that many other characters, I tried to push the 'male reader' but...
I walked out of my apartment shaking, nervous as hell, not knowing if I was dressed up enough, I went through my closet and all I could find was (idk,whatever you want Y/N to wear, be creative) and put it on thinking it looked cute.
About 2 blocks away from my apartment was the -twinkle toes road- cafe, since I live on -sparkling scalp street- It was quite close. I suddenly heard a familiar voice
"Y/N!" They called out and immediately I knew who it was
I turn to see a hunky blue tower of hotness run over to me
"Oh hey," I say not knowing what to do
"Hey Y/N, should we head to the cafe now?"
"Yeah sure" I say awkwardly
We walk to cafe making small talk along the way, screaming at my self in my head not knowing what to say or do, although it never seems to go quiet 'cause theres so much to talk about. until we eventually get to the cafe
We walk up to the counter and place our orders, I ordered a warm drink and something small to eat (again, be creative) and sonic orders the chili dog and a super sonic slam in a large cup of ice cold coca-cola with chocolate syrup chaser. Ugh, he's just full of surprises

We sit down and start talking while eating, it never seems to go awkward, between us it just seem right. I'm sitting here, with the semxiest man alive, I feels like a dream come true
"Where do you wanna go now?" I ask not quite knowing what he had planned
"We could go walk in the park?" He suggests
"Sure" I say cheerfully, I love the park it always calming and peaceful, but with him things are always a little spicy~
