Part 8: Sports Festival PT 2

"He expects me to bow out of this because you were designed to beat All Might. As if you're not a person. I just reminded him I beat the Nomu"

"Begin!" Midnight announces.

His face fills with rage.

I begin by swinging my arm to create a massive wall of flames.



It carves out a hole in the glacier that appeared in my vision.

With breathing room I slap a Fire Glyph on the Glacier and it turns to steam.

I cover the ground with my own ice.



I have to avoid the next chunk of ice, significantly smaller than the glacier but much faster.

Another blast of flame makes Todoroki have to shield and I put a Plant Glyph on the ground and activate it, sending arctic vines through the ground.

When a plant grows in a cold area it becomes far stronger.

So it bursts out of the round and wraps around Todoroki.

"There's only one way out of this Todoroki, use your Quirk, it's not his. It's yours" Todoroki glares at me. "Your Quirk is called Half Hot Half Cold correct? Not Hell Flames? So use the hot, not the Hell Flames"

His face shifts and after a moment a huge explosion of flames erupt.

My fist slams into the hole made by the plants as the cold compressed air rapidly expands in an explosion of sound, light and heat.

And frosty burning.

I feel my wrist snap as my body is buffeted by the air.

Eventually it settles and I pull my shattered fist from the hole, make a circle with my off hand and heal it, rolling it carefully to test.

I take a look at Todoroki and see him embedded in the wall below the seating area.

I cast a simple Air Gust and the smoke clears in a ring around me.

"Izuku Clawthorne wins his second match!" Midnight announces from the spot she landed, having tried to escape the explosion.

I took Todoroki to the Infirmary and returned to my seat to see them still repairing the arena.

"I didn't think it did that much damage" I comment, a bit surprised. "I thought my ice would've held the arena together Amity"

"It did, but only for a short few seconds, the sheer explosion meant your ice was torn from the ground and caused that to then break"

"Oh, glad I could help a bit"

I have no idea if I helped.

I watched the fights and carefully analysed my future opponents, not many contenders for First but a few could give me an actual fight.

Izumi's ruthless and Telekinetically blasts her opponents out of the ring but Bakugo decimates them, destroys their confidence and leaves them in a pile of smoking charred flesh by the exit of the tunnel.

Next is Amity vs Izumi.

I head to my waiting room and sit as the fight begins, casting an observation spell to see from a Glyph I placed on the wall discretely earlier.

Amity was using Abomination to anchor to the ground as she walked towards Izumi.

Suddenly I saw Izumi's face grow enraged, Amity must of said something.
