𝐘/𝐍 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘 look at her friends with a dumbfounded expression - as all three of them admitted to have never watched 'Speed Racer' in their youth. "You're kidding! There is no way you've never seen it?"

She was still absolutely jaw dropped at this, eyeing Remer and Squeak who sat in the backseat - and Coop who was seated beside her in the car.

"I was sheltered as a kid." Remer nearly snickered as he spoke.

"There's no way man," Y/n scoffed as she drove past various locations, "You guys have to watch it."

"Dude, there's no winning with you! I swear, it's like you've seen every movie in existence." Coop laughed, as everyone in the vehicle except Y/n agreed. With a playfully upset expression, Y/n only looked ahead of her.

"Uncultured," She mumbled in a jokingly tone, but in all honesty it came out a little louder than intended. Suddenly, she felt somebody hit her shoulder from behind with a loud gasp.

"Y/n L/n you take that back!" Remer told her, watching as Squeak also looked mortified at her words.

"I'm just saying! Maybe if you just-"

"Wow, Y/n. Trying to make us seem like we're the problem. Wow. Can you believe this shit Squeak?"  Remer pretended to be offended - involving Squeak.

"Oh, hell, leave me out of this one. I can't disagree with Y/n," Squeak sheepishly replied, earning himself yet another dramatic gasp on Remer's end.

"I always knew you were a little bitch!" At this, Coop laughed loudly. As well as Y/n, since she had to admit that Coop's laugh was rather contagious.

"Thanks Squeak! See, Squeak knows what's right." Y/n smiled brightly at Squeak through the rear view mirror, seeing as he only returned the action.

"So, how have things been at the bakery?" Coop somewhat changed the topic - turning to Y/n as she drove.

"Uh, they've been okay. I haven't had any rude customers thankfully. I actually met this really sweet woman earlier today! She didn't give me a hard time at all, she was really sweet," Y/n beamed, changing the aura in the car completely. It brought smiles to her friends faces to see her in such an ecstatic light.

Even though they always pretended to be assholes, they truly cared for her.

"That's great," Coop's lips curved into a small smile, softly glimmering in the early evening moonlight.

"Aw, what're you guys gonna do next? Hold hands and frolic around the Baseketball stadium?" Remer teased from behind the two, bringing them to realize they were lost in their own little moment of joy.

"Oh, fuck you Remer!" Coop flipped him off with a small grin. Y/n could only giggle a bit, she didn't entirely think much of it. Remer teased everyone, which is why she assumed nothing.

"I'm surprised you know what frolic means," Y/n whispered once more, feeling as he hit her once again, not being able to contain her laughter Y/n erupted into a fit of giggles.

"Motherf— Coop! Squeak! You guys are gonna let her abuse me verbally like this?" He whined, noticing as Y/n's laughter didn't end, it only multiplied as Coop joined in.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Y/n manager to contain herself, "I'm sorry, Remer." She looked at him through the rear view mirror as well, attempting to not burst out into laughter.

"I only forgive you, because it's you." Remer rolled his eyes, which Y/n gladly took as a win.

Noticing as they arrived, Y/n pulled into the stadium, bubbling with anxiety. Her friends didn't seem any better, all of them looked as if this day was going to be their last.
