How to break it to your parents that you're dating someone. Hmmm. Well you don't want to like text it to them. They will bombard you with extra questions then. Tell them who it is, how you met, how long you've been going out, ect. Then answer their questions, just get it out of the way. Also tell them when your going out, so you're not like "I'm going to a party mom" and she be like "Uh, no you aren't". Parents will understand if you want to skip dinner to go on a date. They did it too. Just saying.

Ollie was super nervous. It was his first time telling his parents he had a girlfriend. No, he didn't tell them about Stephanie, he didn't figure it would last that long. He and Gabi had been dating for two weeks now. They had been the best two weeks of his life.
"Ollie", came his mother's gentle voice, "what did you want to talk to us about?" He took a deep breath and started out, "Mom, Dad I'm dating someone.", he paused, "Before you bombard me with questions let me talk. Her name is Gabi Normstern. She's my age. We have been going out for about two weeks. I asked her out after I accidentally knocked her books out of her hand. I of course helped her pick them up."
His parents just smiled at him and his mom said one thing, "Can we a picture?" So he picked out his favorite picture and showed them. "Oh, she's beautiful.", his mom said. They were like, "Whenever you have a date, tell us so we know what you're doing. Okay?"
He smiled at them and said, "Okay."
