The next day.

SAKURA APPEARED IN THE Hokage's office in a shunshin of cherry blossoms, fully clad in her anbu attire. The Hokage — expecting her presence, smiled. "Anbu Captain Tiger will be introducing you to his team, and show you around the headquarters. Good luck, Kitsune." The Hokage said and an ANBU flickered into the room, a tiger mask on his face.

She bowed her head in respect as he looked down at her. He was at least 30, she could tell. He's can't be surprised she was so small. He's probably had younger people in ANBU. Like Itachi Uchiha, he was her age when he became an ANBU.

She stood up and followed Tiger out of the Hokage's office. "So, Kitsune. Newest member eh?" Tiger said, looking down at her. She nodded and Tiger huffed. "Reminds me of Weasel.." he murmured as they walk through the streets of Konoha.

"Come." He said as they jumped to the rooftops. She memorised the way to the ANBU headquarters. They entered and walked through various hallways. Tiger pointed out which doors and hallways lead to, showing her around. He then opened the final door. "And this, is our communal area. Where all the ANBU hang out." Tiger mused, opening the door.

They walked in. The room was massive. It was the size of the bottom floor of a house alone. Various couches were placed in front of a TV, a few dining tables. A bunch of random targets around the room which had a few Kunai or shuriken in.

There were hammocks in the corners and a bar in the middle of the room, where apparently people would switch shifts at being bartender, cause apparently every anbu can do that. And since Sakura was a ANBU, she was classified as a legal adult. Wow, fun. She's just happy the ANBU get paid a shit ton of money, and she had the Senju funds. She could wait to spoil Ino.

She was introduced to her team members, Snail and Bear. Snail was a laidback, chill girl while Bear was a arrogant, but funny guy. Their personalities are totally different but they clash just right. Tiger was the 'mother hen' of the team, according to Bear's teasing. Sakura smiled, she would fit in nicely here. She just hoped Ino wouldn't be mad at her next week, but for now, she had multiple missions to go on and a tattoo waiting for her shoulder.

Sakura walked into the academy a week later. She got wide eyed looks from people she used to know, people like Shikamaru, Naruto, Choji, Kiba, Hinata. She sat down next to Naruto who blinked at her. "Sakura..? Is that you?" He asked and Sakura gave him an eye smile. "Hey Naruto." She replied and he looked like he was going to faint.

She looked behind her to Shikamaru. "Where's Ino?" She asked and Shikamaru jolted at the sudden question on him. "Uh.. I don't know.." he murmured, still staring at Sakura. It was understandable. One of their classmates suddenly go missing for three years and appear once again.

The door opened and Ino walked in. She looked annoyed at something, grumbling under her breath. She ignored everyone, sitting at her desk next to Shikamaru and putting her face in her hands. Shikamaru nudged her. "I-Ino.." he whispered and she glared at him. He gestured to Sakura.

Time slowed down for Ino and Sakura as the blonde haired girl slowly turned to Sakura. The blonde widened her eyes as Sakura sent her an eye smile. "Hey Ino.." Sakura murmured. She jolted as a hand grabbed her wrist. She was dragged out of the classroom by Ino.

The door closed and she grunted as her back was slammed against the wall. "Who are you?!" Ino demanded and Sakura blinked. "Uh, Haruno Sakura.?" Sakura replied, confused. "Sakura doesn't wear a mask! This better not be some cruel joke.." Ino said, clenching her fists which were on the wall next to Sakura's head, effectively pinning her to the wall.
