Grayson POV:
She reminds me so much of Emily I thought. The entire car ride, I couldn't stop thinking of how much they were alike. They both have strawberry blonde hair. They both have beautiful eyes. I couldn't get the picture of Emily on the beach out of my head.

Olivia POV:
A few hours later, we landed at Hawthorne House, swarmed by paparazzi. They began asking all four of us questions.
"Is it true, Grayson, that you killed Emily?" Grayson paused. "Is that true, Grayson?" I asked. He didn't respond to the paparazzi, and led us inside.
"Welcome to Hawthorne House, girls. Please follow me, the reading of the will will begin shortly." The man who greeted us I assumed was Oren. He was wearing a black suit, and he had an earpiece. He led us up a giant staircase, and to the "guest wing" of the house.
The wing was massive. It had its own movie theater, salon and spa, and even a library. Avery's jaw was dropped, and Libby was in shock. We all set our stuff down, and began to explore the rest of the house. A member of security was following each of us around, making sure we were safe.

I somehow made my way to the kitchen, and saw 10 different chefs there, making 10 different things. I was in awe.
"Excuse me, could I order something? I haven't eaten all day," I asked one of the chefs.
"Sure thing, ma'am. What would you like?" The chef immediately pulled out a order book, expecting a huge order or something crazy.
"I'll just have a turkey sandwich, please."
"Sure thing, ma'am." The chef made his way to the back of the kitchen to prepare my sandwich.A few minutes later, Grayson walked into the kitchen, and sat beside me at the counter. "Olivia, right?" Grayson looked at me.
"Yes, is there something you need?"
"No, just confirming." Grayson got up from his seat, and began to walk away.
"Wait." Grayson stopped walking, and turned around.
"Yes, Ms. Grambs?" Grayson put his hand on the counter.
"I feel like we've met before." Grayson looked so familiar, and I couldn't grasp why.
"Not that I recall," Grayson said. I was determined to find out where we'd met.
"Did you recognize me when we met? I could've sworn we have seen each other before."
Flashback to when they were 6
Grayson's POV:"Come on, Olivia! Let's go play on the playground!" I said to Olivia. We ran over to the playground, and began climbing up the slide.
"Have fun, kids! Be careful!" My mother, Skye, said.
We played for a couple hours, and then got tired. Olivia came over to me, and sat next to me. She put her head on my shoulder, and fell asleep.
End of flashback
"Oh, okay. Well, sorry for wasting your time." I picked up my sandwich and began walking out of the kitchen.
"Wait, Olivia," Grayson said.
"Yes?" I turned to see Grayson deep in thought.
"We have met before, when we were younger. We used to be friends," Grayson said. His look could pierce me. It's not how it was before; he looked at me as if I was a criminal. Now, he looked at me as if I was a loved one on their deathbed. Something about our childhood had reminded him of something he didn't want to remember.
"Oh my god, how could I forget? I'm so stupid," I said to Grayson. "Well, we should head to the hall for the will reading.

"What the fuck?! He left the money to her?" Grayson yelled. He stood up from his seat and began walking around. "There's no way he would leave ALL the money to her! There has to be some mistake!" I walked over to Grayson and put a hand on his arm.
"Grayson, you need to calm down," I told him. I was shocked too, but I had to stop him from yelling. I pulled his arm, and motioned him to follow me. I led him out of the room into a quiet hallway.
"Listen, I know it's hard to process, I'm still processing too. But for you to lash out in front of everyone? That's not okay."
"You're right," Grayson whispered. He grabbed my hand reluctantly, but squeezed it hard. I pulled my hand away from his. "Grayson, why-" He cut me off.
"I'm sorry, I just need to think right now." Grayson looked at me once more before leaving the room.
