A/N: hey y'all. so this chapter is short, but i couldn't really think of anything else to add to this chapter... i'll make a part 2 of this chapter  in Olivia's pov. but for now, enjoy :)

Grayson's POV:

I couldn't get Emily out of my head. She's like a lingering spirit that never goes away... well, I guess that's true. I walked out of my room and headed for the pool.

I was swimming in the pool when I heard the backdoor open.

"Do you normally go late night swimming, Grayson?" Olivia asked, arms crossed. She was wearing a very thin nightgown and was shivering.

"Yes, almost every night. Why do you ask?"

"Just wondering." Olivia pulled up her nightgown a bit and slipped her legs into the pool. "Anything on you mind?"

"Yeah, I've been thinking about the will reading. I just don't understand why my grandfather would leave all the money to your sister. No hate or anything," I began. I couldn't tell her about Emily, she'd think I'm a murderer, and I'm not. "I think there's another will."

"That does make sense. It does sound weird that your grandfather would give all his inheritance to someone he's never met before." Olivia and I sat in silence for a bit, and I got out of the pool after a few minutes. "Wait," Olivia said. "I wanted to ask you something."

"Yes, Ms. Grambs?"

"What are you actually thinking about? I know that's not the only thing on your mind." How does she know? I thought.

"There's nothing else, don't worry about it." I grabbed my towel, and headed for my room. "You should head to bed, Olivia." Olivia came up to me and grabbed my arm.

"Grayson, tell me what's wrong. There's obviously something-" I cut her off. I grabbed her face and kissed her aggressively. Even though I couldn't stop thinking about Emily, I couldn't stop thinking about Olivia, too. She kissed me back, hard. It felt like she needed something, just like I needed a distraction, from Emily. I pulled away from Olivia, and looked into her beautiful emerald eyes.

"Oh shit," I said. "I shouldn't have done that, I'm sorry Olivia." I left her by the pool and ran into the house.
