Ominis POV

Even though we both agreed on our mutual attraction and affections for Sebastian, there was a nagging sense that something wasn't quite right about his behavior, we couldn't shake the feeling that we were being played. After much discussion, we decided to confront him about it but we still had a couple of hours before he would return to the castle.

Our fingers were intertwined as we made our way towards the Room of Requirement. When we arrived, we stopped in front of the enchanted entrance.

"What do you think we should ask of the room this time?" she inquired.

"I'm happy to leave that decision to you. What do you think would make you the most comfortable?" After a moment, we entered the vast space with the familiar scent of a vivarium. "It's the usual space then." I remarked.

"Um.. it was supposed to be the usual space," she said hesitantly, "but it looks like there is a small change next to the library. Now I'm glad that Deek no longer comes here to visit."

"What is it?" I asked, surprised by her unusually timid voice.

"Better if I show you." she said, leading me across the floor to a particular area. As we stopped, she placed my hand on a velvet drapery in front of us.

"Curtains?" I asked, a bit confused "A window appeared?"

"Not exactly." she said, standing right behind me, one hand placed on my back. I traced the fabric with my fingertips then noticed a wooden frame and a soft padding that my knees touched as I came a bit closer to it. What a smart room!

I settled onto the new bed, tugging her towards me as she curled up on my lap.

Reader POV

He placed one arm around my waist to hold me in place while his hand slowly traced my face. Forehead, temples, nose, cheeks, every inch was being slowly explored by his fingertips. It was like he was trying to see me.

The feeling was so intense that I let out a soft sigh. I looked at him, his eyes were like liquid silver, lips slightly parted. I couldn't help but lean in, feeling his hand move to the back of my head, he deepened the kiss.

The taste of him, the feel of his arms around me, and the sound of his breathing were all I could focus on. I felt him harden beneath me and my cheeks ignited with heat at the realization, a well-known surge of lust traveled throughout my core. I loosened his tie and let my hands trail down his chest. His tongue slipped over mine and I was drowning in a sea of desire. I pulled away for just a moment to look at him again, to run my thumb against his soft lips, to inhale the scent of citrus and spice that was just his and that flooded my mind completely.

In one swift motion, he lifted me up as if I were weightless, moving both of us further onto the bed. I gasped in surprise when I found myself on my back.

A heat was starting to build between my legs and I ran my fingers through his hair, gripping them, pulling him closer. I needed more. He pushed my jaw with his thumb to turn my head, leaning down to kiss along my neck. Then his hand crawled around the back of my neck with a firm grip as the kisses were becoming more desperate and hungry. A soft moan of pure bliss escaped my lips and he whispered against my burning skin while placing delicate kisses along my jawline, "Merlin, I want to hear more of those."

His tongue slipped inside my mouth again, he bit my lower lip and tugged, not hard, but just enough to make me squirm.

As he trailed his fingers up my thigh, I felt a sudden wash of self-consciousness. What if Sebastian entered the room right now, would we even be able to tell? As soon as that thought entered my mind I heard a familiar voice, "I got your message but I'm confused now, am I supposed to join or just watch?"

Sebastian's arms were crossed as he leaned against the bed frame, a typical smirk adorning his face. Our lips parted as we quickly pulled away from each other.

"You're here early, Sebastian," Ominis said, his voice tinged with irritation.

Sebastian raised an eyebrow and looked us over. "I'd say I was right on time." he said, his smirk growing wider.

"Don't get too excited, Sebastian. We asked you to meet us here to have a word with you." I said pullings my skirt down again and trying to hide my embarrassment.

Sebastian's grin faded as he took notice of the serious tone in my voice. He walked towards us and sat down on the edge of the bed next to Ominis. "I'm all ears." he said, his usual cocky demeanor replaced with a more somber expression.

I rose from my seat and began pacing back and forth in front of them, attempting to steady my nerves. "Let's cut to the chase." I stated firmly. "What's the deal here? You try to kiss me in the library and 30 minutes later, you're snogging with Ominis. Are you playing games with us, Sebastian?"

Sebastian raised his hands defensively. "Look, I was very clear with both of you right from the beginning." he said, his voice rising in frustration. "I care about you, both of you, more than as just friends, and I wanted you to know that. I'm sick of pretending and hiding it. Last time I tried to do that, it blew up in my face." He looked directly at me, his dark eyes filled with emotion. "I thought maybe, just maybe, we could find a way to make this work, the three of us."

Ominis frowned and crossed his arms. Sensing the growing unease, I turned to him and asked, "Is there something you'd like to say, Ominis?"

"Yes." he said in a serious tone, "I hear you, Sebastian, and while it all sounds good, I can't help but feel like there's something missing. It all seems too easy, like there's more to the story that you're not telling us. I hate to bring it up, but this wouldn't be the first time you've lied to us to get what you want."

Sebastian's eyebrows furrowed and his voice was very low, "I'm not lying."

"It's not easy to trust you," Ominis retorted, his voice growing angrier by the second. "You have a way of manipulating situations to your advantage."

The tension in the room became palpable, and I felt like I was caught in the middle of a brewing storm.

Sebastian looked like he was about to speak up, but then let out a heavy sigh and rubbed his hands over his face. He looked drained, as though all the energy had been sucked out of him in an instant.

Sebastian POV

I wanted to defend myself, but as Ominis raised his voice, I knew he was right. I couldn't help but feel guilty and ashamed. Despite my genuine feelings for them, I had been manipulating them. I lied and didn't tell them the whole truth. I didn't deserve their trust or even their friendship. I should have known better that this was never going to work, not for me. At that point, I decided to come clean. They may as well know why they should hate me.

With a heavy heart, I turned to y/n and said, "Give me the Veritaserum."
