The two men standing above her almost reminded her of comedy and tragedy one standing there staring down at her with crossed arms and a permanent scowl, the other smiling reacher his hand out to her attempting to pawn off the treat to her while helping her up

The man who revealed himself to be the new defense against the dark arts instructor Professor Lupin is wearing an extremely shabby set of wizard's robes that had been darkened in several places. He looks sick and tired. Though quite young, his light brown hair was flecked with gray and had unexplained scratches across his face. as lupin helped pull her up she noticed his wand still firmly at his side, glancing over she saw Stellan his Cold Blue ice eyes staring down at and almost threw her, he wears a tailor-made Silk shirt built to match his extremely tall nearly 1.9M frame, with his tie loosely tied around his neck with the prefect badge pinned to it, he had strange hair too, black with white highlights that had been bewitched by a Jealous Student the year prior but he liked so much he kept it as it was, his arms crossed and held within his hand hidden was his wand in his grasp.

Professor Lupin gently took her hand and placed the large chocolate bar in her hand "Eat this, it will help you feel better and I've asked Mr. Nott, to stay with you until you reach Hogwarts grounds which should be in about 5 minutes, in the meantime I shall go speak with the train conductor" Stellan rolled his eyes at this before moving out of Professor Lupin's way to let him leave the compartment. Stellan quietly sat down on the booth and leaned back with a heavy sigh which caused the young girl to shakily sit down taking a very tiny bite of chocolate before speaking up to him "What happened?" He didn't take long to respond without even looking at her "You have been attacked" Her face went cold, and she asked another question "What was that?" He starts to rub his eyes, annoyed by the very sound of her voice "A dementor" Maria takes another bite of the chocolate out of nervousness before asking another question "Did you save me?" Stellan leaned his head against the now-closed window "I had no choice" She nodded, nearly crying at the thought of someone other than the school staff helping her even if it was very begrudgingly "T-Thank you" His sharp gaze met her hazel eyes with pure malice behind them "Never mention it again"

Maria decided to stop there and not try to ask Stellan any more questions, it was pretty clear he didn't want to be there and is only following the instructions of the professor but she studied her peer intently, he didn't seem bothered by her staring but she kept it up until the train arrived the Hogwarts which caused Stellan to instantly get out of the cart leaving her alone with her thoughts. Faces blurred together during the chaos of everyone trying to get off the train first but the only face she instantly recognized was Harry Potter, she winced as she looked on at him from a distance, Long buried memories resurfacing like old wounds. Fortunately for her, she couldn't focus on those feelings for long as she grabbed her bags from her cabin. She winced as she looked on at him from a distance, Long buried memories resurfacing like old wounds.

Fortunately for her, she couldn't focus on those feelings for long as she grabbed her bags from her cabin. Maira stopped in her tracks as she pulled her cage down from the baggage hold. "I'm so sorry I Didn't forget about you, my precious Boy," she said in an almost uncharacteristically chipper tone. Students are allowed one pet while on campus but up until now she had been unable to bring one, Luckily for her that changed starting this year. Her parents noticed her faltering mental state and got her an emotional support cat he has Wonderful Long hair, Black with a single white patch over the left side of his face, and Beautiful green eyes, his name is Phantom and his very presence seemed to break Maria out of her shell.

There was a struggle to get off the train, everyone was huddled together and doing anything they can think of to keep themselves warm from the icy rain, even Nevil had his toad under his hat that almost everyone could hear, all the students besides the first years moved along the platform out to a muddy trail with stage coaches waiting with thestrals tied to them which Maria never really liked seeing them used for this kind of thing, every friend group filled up the carriages until one was left with just a few students left, they're more shy kids from every other Hogwarts house besides Slytherin which is where Maria came in but she didn't speak to any of them during the ride to Hogwarts, Not that she could even if she wanted to as the flavor of chocolate left her mouth she felt her body lurching forward, sickness overtaking her, she turned to the window of the carriage and saw how pale her skin has gotten, and that her eyes had a dark shadow covering them giving an almost sunken look, the dementors must have some effect on physical well being. Maria settled in for the night mentally and emotionally preparing for what was sure to be a harsh first day back to school, but nothing could have quite prepared her for what was to come that year
