"Till the end of Time" - FIVE HARGREEVES

-CHAPTER TWO-

After the mission in Greece me and Five did a lot more missions together, like the Handler said. We work perfectly together.

Over the years we grew closer to eachother, Five told me all about how he got stuck in the apocalypse and about his family.

I felt so bad for him that he had to go through that at such a young age, he told me about that his work here at the Commission is only way to get back home, back to his family.

I didn't mind being with Five, he can actually be real sweet and caring. Well he is sweet towards me, towards others is he like an angry mountain lion.

It's almost like he has a soft spot for me, but that probably isn't, right?

Anyway-

*1963*

It was a sunny day in November of 1963, Five and i had a mission that had something to do with the assassination of Kennedy.

 I didn't really pay attention to what the Handler said, in her tone of speaking was it quite boring.

It really didn't matter afterwards, today was the day that Five would try and buy his ticket back to 2019.

What was probably his only change to get back.

And he was planning on taking me along, he couldn't leave me behind in that shithole with the Handler. 

We stood behind a white painted fence our weapons and cases were laid away. Not like we need them anymore.

''Careful, dear, stay by my side, okay?'' Five said as he grabbed my hand and gently pulled me closer to him.

''I'm fine, Five'' I smiled ''Quit it with the pet names, alright'' My smile even widened as he smirks at me.

I quickly looked away as i started thinking of what my mom might do to me when she realises that i'm gone. She wouldn't be happy, that's for sure.

I was thinking of any horrible thing that she might do to me, or Five. 

I was snapped out my thoughts when Five called out my name. Looks like he's done with the calculations.

''You sure you got the right equastions?'' I said with a scared tone, hoping that nothing will happen.

''Yeah, i'm sure'' Five said while looking at me. ''Don't worry, i won't let anything happen to you.''

''Oh you better not Hargreeves, i trust you.'' I giggeld and he gave me a smile in return.

Well, here goes nothing.

Five let go of my hand as he balls his hands into fists as the familiar blue energy starts growing around his fists.

As a potal began to form, Five began to sqeeze his eyes tightly shut as he groaned.

Out of nowhere we see a fire can flying through the portal and landing behind us.

I looked behind to the random fire can that flew through the vortex and quickly turned to look at Five in confusing.

That was Fives que to hurry up, he then grabbed my arm and pulled met into the vortex with him as we both fell to the ground.

I winched loudly as i made contact to the ground. ''Fucking christ!'' I shut my eyes tightly to distract myself from the pain of the landing.
