DOH 1
NONHLE MSIZA
Sbakhulu: You have to be prepared Nonhle.
I looked at him and sighed. I was prepared,he just thought what if I messed it all up. At this rate I was bound to mess it all up. All this training was getting me tired and annoyed.
Me:Can I go and eat?
He huffed.
Sbakhulu: Here's your new ID and passport.
I grabbed them and got off the treadmill.
Sbakhulu: You are not going to check them?
Me: You wouldn't purposely give me you didn't check?
Sbakhulu:Why do you have to be so hot headed?
Me:I have spent 8 years training for this, you can't really blame me for being tired.
Sbakhulu: You had to be ready.
Me: You mean Granny's death is the reason that pushed you.
He didn't respond. It was still a mystery what really happened to my grandmother, one moment she had an important meeting and next she died of heart failure. I was there when that foam came out of her mouth, her blabbering that they had poisoned her because she knew the truth. What truth? She died before she could confess it to me. When I said this,my mother blew and called me a pathological liar. Thing is she never really believed me when I told her what happened to my father,I was a ten year old making up stories to cover up for my pain. So the police didn't even want to hear what I had to say. So after my father's death, his brother,Uncle Sbakhulu offered to take me in full-time. A retired soldier taking care of a girl?I don't know what was happening in her head really because she couldn't wait to get rid of me fast. I knew how to shoot and use knives by thirteen,I was skilled in archery and combat. I only did this because my uncle said I would get my revenge on the people that murdered my father and siblings. I was homeschooled, being taught by tutors which made me be ahead. Granny visited me everyday,Mom only sent money and never showed up unless I came to visit her and Granny. Even at the time, she'd rather be in her room than talk to me. We lost everything when my father died, assets, all of them.
I was exhausted from all the training as I grabbed all the letters,I browsed through it until I saw the name on one letter. It had my name,I teared it open and looked inside. Now I was definitely confused,I had no idea that granny had savings or had a lawyer. It was directed to me by her lawyer,to come and see him whenever I was ready to discuss my grandmother's will which only had me as the sole heir.

GOVERNOR NINGIZA
Me:I am sad people of Melope,I can't contain my sadness at all. I cannot begin to fathom how this has affected me as your governor in whole.
I took a deep breath.
Me:Few days ago, rumours and speculations were made by Miss Asivuye Ndumiso. She recorded herself, something journalists do not ever do. She recorded herself saying that I was involved in drug deals, illegal weapon trade, went as far as telling the world that I had a hand in my fellow comrades' deaths. Mentioning a good friend of mine who was gunned down eight years ago. I have worked so hard to improve this province the past 8 years, not once did I take what wasn't mine or deal with drugs.
I wiped my mouth.
Me:I have been serving this province with everything but not once did I think,my own people would believe this. My kids and wife don't even want to step out of their home because of what Miss Ndumiso insinuated. I had my lawyers email,so I could give her a chance to explain and show me proof of these accusations. I am afraid,we haven't heard from her. I am not dealing with any drugs or weapons. Thank you.
I got off the podium. I looked at Brian.
Me:Find that little bitch.
Brian:Yes Sir.
Me:Why are you still here?Scramble and find her. Damn bitch for going live.
I walked past the journalists wanting to ask questions,my security team led me to the car as I cursed under my breath. I sat down.
Voice:Did it go well?
I looked at her and smiled.
Me:From just seeing that face, all is well.
She giggled covering her mouth with nails.
Chantel:Ah Daddy you always know how to make me smile.
I grabbed her thigh and squeezed.
Me:How about a nice weekend away?
Her eyes brightened.
Chantel:Oh why Daddy?What did I do?
Me: You deserve all of the softer things in life.
Chantel:Ohh thank you Daddy.
She kissed me on the lips,my phone rang,I looked at the number.
Chantel:Pick it up,we both know Mrs Ningiza won't stop calling at all Daddy.
I answered the call.
Me:Mandisa.
Mandisa:Did it go well?
Chantel smirked and ran her long nails on thigh.
Me:Fine.
Mandisa:I didn't have time to watch the news, but the kids called and told me you didn't allow any journalists to ask questions.
Me:Can we talk about this on Monday?
Mandisa: Monday?Where are you going?
Me:The President wants to talk and strategies about this journalist's problem.
Mandisa: Somehow you tell me now?
Me:I was too busy worrying about this problem to remember to ta-
I bit my tongue as she grabbed me.
Mandisa:Ohh okay.
I dropped the call,I turned to Chantel.
Me: You naughty girl.

NONHLE MSIZA
I basically didn't exist to the world,no one knew who I was anymore ever since my father died. I used to be on kids' magazines as the well dressed, well that, well this, they just wanted to sell. I was on the spotlight then it was all gone. I pulled my big hoodie over feeling like people were looking. It didn't help that the town was named after my father, each and every time, felt like they were going to ask. "Are you Alfred Msiza's daughter?" They never really ask me at all, just me thinking they would recognise me. I finally reached the offices hoping that they won't keep me long so I could return eKhulani early. Townships weren't exactly friendly to women walking late especially Khulani. I just gave the receptionist the letter.
Receptionist:That red door.
I grabbed the letter and walked to the door. I knocked, Someone alerted me to walk inside.
Me:I got this.
I handed the letter to the man sitting behind the table.
Man:Ohh you are Nonhle Msiza?
Me:If I wasn't her,I wouldn't have came here.
He frowned and got up,went through the drawers and came back with a file.
Man: You did bring your ID as instructed?
I handed him the ID,he looked at me before handing it back.
Man:I got these documents for you. This is the title deed of the house, some money left for you, and this document with numbers.
Me:What house? Granny did not have a house.
Man:It says here that she did actually,in 21 Harmony Avenue, Emily on Sea,which is not far-
Me:I know where it is.
It was my old house,I didn't understand how Granny was the sole owner of the house,I mean it was my father's. I grabbed the documents and read through them.
Me:I came all the way for some bogus will.
Man:Ohh it's not,I am required to confirm what my clients say before approving their wills.
Me:My grandmother didn't even work to have so much money. On top what is this?Numbers for what?
Man:I am afraid I can't really verify numbers, they must mean something to you.
Me:Do I look like I know why she left a piece of paper with 1,2,uhm 10 numbers?
Man: You have to sign here.
I signed and took the papers feeling more frustrated than before. How did my grandmother get our old house?Where did she get so much money? What the hell was the numbers for?
