As an avid reader and passionate writer, I have observed with concern the overwhelming abundance of inappropriate books saturating the literary landscape. It deeply troubles me that such content, no matter its platform or origin, has found its way into the hands of impressionable young minds, potentially tainting their innocence and impacting their emotional and mental development. The power to shape minds lies within the written word, and as writers, we hold the responsibility to wield this power conscientiously.

In this age of information, where access to various forms of literature has become all-over, we must be mindful of the content we create and consume. The prevalence of inappropriate books, filled with explicit themes, gratuitous violence, and explicit romance, can inadvertently desensitize young readers to the consequences of such actions, blurring the lines between fiction and reality. As writers, we bear a collective responsibility to safeguard the well-being of our readers, especially the vulnerable hearts of those who are merely 12 to 14 years old or even younger.

It is with this sense of duty that I choose to speak up on this pressing issue. As a writer, my aspiration is not merely to entertain but to enlighten, inspire, and influence positively. I yearn to be part of the solution rather than perpetuate the problem. My dream is to foster a literary environment that encourages modesty, empathy, and values that uplift the human spirit.

In the midst of this literary landscape, I envision a trend where books resonate with messages of hope, kindness, and compassion. I aim to craft stories that celebrate the strength of the human spirit, the beauty of diversity, and the importance of standing up for what is right. These tales will be woven with characters who serve as beacons of virtue, guiding readers toward noble ideals and inspiring them to become the best versions of themselves.

One of the ways I intend to achieve this vision is by setting my stories in captivating and historically rich settings. By transporting readers to places like the enchanting city of Baghdad, I can immerse them in a world where ancient wisdom blends with modern sensibilities. My tales will be meticulously researched, paying homage to the cultural heritage of these locations and providing readers with an enriching experience that sparks their curiosity and thirst for knowledge.

In my pursuit of promoting positive change through literature, I understand that it is essential to be patient and resilient. Change seldom occurs overnight, but I firmly believe that every step we take toward a more modest and respectful literary world is a step toward nurturing the hearts and minds of future generations.

Here I wanted to share a few tips for anyone who is struggling to write stories that hold moral values, empathy, and respect.

Diverse Representation: Incorporate characters from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. This helps readers understand and appreciate the richness of human diversity.

Positive Role Models: Create characters who embody positive qualities and traits that readers can look up to and aspire to emulate

Engage with Readers: Be open to feedback from your readers. Engage with them, understand their perspectives, and take their opinions into consideration when refining your work.

Start a Dialogue: Use your writing to start conversations about the importance of modesty and the impact of literature on young minds. Encourage discussions about the content we consume and its influence on our values.

Collaborate with Like-Minded Writers: Partner with other writers who share your vision to amplify your message and reach a broader audience.

Promote Positive Content: Support and promote other authors and books that align with your values. By highlighting good content, you contribute to the growth of positive literature.

Stay True to Your Vision: In a world with various literary trends, stay true to your vision and values. Be patient and persistent in promoting the kind of content you believe will make a positive impact.

Remember, change often starts small but can grow exponentially. By using your writing as a means to create a trend of modest and positive content, you can make a meaningful contribution to society and inspire others to do the same.

In conclusion, I pray that Allah guides us on this journey and empowers us to use the pen as a tool for good. May our words become a source of wisdom, inspiration, and healing for young readers and the world at large. Ameen
