It was raining heavily outside. The soft sound of rain reached my ears, and the cascading rain drenched my shoulders with water, but I did not care. I saw my maids carrying my parasol as they hurried along to catch up to me.
"Your majesty, your shoulders are getting drenched, please let us cover you up with a shawl or you will be ill!"
"I'm sorry, but this is urgent, and tis my priority." I thought. I strode on more faster, now almost running to the pavilion. My feet aching as I moved precariously.
𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲? 𝗡𝗼, 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝘂𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗲?
My questions rang in my mind.
All those years of being together..All those years of the so called friendship..
What about my feelings? Can I hide them forever?
Then I stopped.
I froze as I saw 𝗵𝗶𝗺

Sitting on the pavilion, with a graceful look. Swaying golden locks, and those beautiful hues of blue on that diamond eyes

Claude, beside her, was looking happier then ever. With a small smile appearing on his face, and with his arms wrapped around her shoulders, they both looked like a fairytale couple. No concubine has ever dared to make him smile like this.
𝘼𝙝.
How could I have not realized it sooner.
"Oh Claude, is this the Empress you have been talking about?" the fair blonde women asked, her eyes brightening up to the male beside her. She stood and beamed a smile at me.
She certaintly looked like a fairy. Her blonde hair shone even in the midst of rain. Her innocent looking iris was smiling warmly at me. She gracefully bowed before my presence.
"Blessings to the moon of the obelia empire" she recited, her voice ethereal, like a fine golden silk. "You may rise." I said calmly, my voice shaking.
"This is Diana, now a new concubine from Siodonna. I hope you will take great care in her, Alexandra." Claude said, his voice full of love for his new concubine. He once again smiled at her, in which she giggled in return, her eyes so innocent and lovable.
Perhaps he didn't hear the shake of my voice behind those calm exterior.
