The days went by pretty fast. I couldn't keep track of time, but I can tell I've been here for months. Since that little interaction with Vincent, I've been on edge for quite a while, hoping he'd return. With him around, I felt as if I had hope.

"I wonder if I'll ever get out of here. This is too much for me to take. I just might go crazy." Though the small chandelier above her was off,  a small candlestick on her desk provided a good light source.

In the distance, footsteps could be heard. Hearing this, Y/n shot up from her bed. Her heart was racing, but not in fear, but in excitement. She heard the footsteps come to a complete stop.

'Is that Vincent?' Y/n thought to herself. There was a heavy knock at the door that had her alarmed. Her heart beat even faster than before. There was some time after the knock occurred, and then the doorknob started to turn. Due to the lights being all of leaving the only light source in the room, a candle stick, it was hard to see the figure that walked in.

They stood tall in the darkness. You can feel their eyes piercing through your own soul. The silence lay in the air for a very long time until the figure came closer to the small light exposed in the room. Seeing the figure's face made your heart drop. It was the Fox demon, himself.

"Wh-why are you here?" Y/n trembled  in fear as the man she wished she didn't have to see was standing right in front of her.  His eyes stared at her own coldly. The demonic look he gave her made her wish it was all a dream.

"I've come to invite you to dinner." The fox demon said without haste. His demeanor was strict and overwhelming, but his words had a hint of softness to it.

"Dinner, why?" Y/n was confused. He came to see her...to invite her to dinner. What could he possibly want from her to invite her to dinner?

Who knows how long she's been down here in this prison. She's slowly losing her mind. The only thing that is keeping her sane is her own hope of being able to escape.

"I wanted to invite you because I've realized for a long time that we've got off on the wrong foot. I want us to start all over and get to know each other."

There was so much you wanted to say to him. If he realized that what he did was wrong, then he should've let you go back where you belong or at least put you in a room with windows.

He did all of this on purpose, throwing me down, and having Vincent check on my mental state is just him trying to find a way to make me like him on my own occurrence.

"I'll get dressed then." Before you could walk towards your wardrobe, the fox demon grabbed you by your wrist, pulling you towards him, and then picked you up bridal style.

"No need, let's get going." He carried you out the room and into the hallway. It was dark, the candles hardly showed what was in front of them.

The walk was quite long. It was longer than expected. Every new turn leads to another long hallway. But in spite of that, Y/n did her best to pay attention to the path they were taking. Memorizing every single way so that when she returns to her room, she can escape with a way out.

Finally, they made it to a long flight of stairs. It was a marron color that shined under the light produced from whatever was at the very top. They went up the steps and got higher and higher until they reached the top.

They entered a brightly lit hallway where there were guards standing by waiting for the arrival of the Emperor.

"Your majesty, dinner is ready to be served when you are." Said one of the guards.

"Very well then we're on our way to the dining hall." The fox demon walked all the way to the dining hall.

When you enter the dining hall, you look around and notice all the decorations all over the walls. The walls are dark blue with white curls. Emmitting from the bottom of the wall. There were paintings hanging all around the room.
