Chapter 4 How could you!

"How could you do this to me I thought you loved me! I gave you my virginity without my choice in any way"!

"Y/n please this isn't what it looks like let me explain"!

I didn't want to see my so-called husband utterly naked beside another woman.

"Oh, my, who is that sweetheart"? Is she not the dinner I was promised? The woman sat up from her position moving some strings of her red hair behind her ear.

"That woman is my wife". The fox demon said as he gave the woman hatred eyes of death. The woman looked unfazed as she looked from the fox demon to the human,

"So this is what you're replacing me with? And to think we had chemistry together, oh well. I had my fun so I guess I'll get going now but thank you for the good times we had together it was worth all the trouble I caused you on my end of the deal." With a sinister laugh, the mysterious woman got dressed and disappeared into the hallway.

Silence filled the room. The hint of sex was still in the air. Tears form in the eyes. Hatred starts to bloom. The individuals left in the room stare at each other without a single blink of an eye. This was a clear sign of all hell breaking loose.

"Did you enjoy it ?" The silence was finally broken as Y/N made the first move to speak.

"What?" The Fox demon was utterly confused as he stared at his wife. Seeing the tears disappear away from her face. She looked almost excited to hear his answer.

"Did you enjoy it? Did you enjoy having sex with her? You don't have to lie to me I just wanna know if having sex with that woman was worth it if it was the best sex you could ever have.

At this point, Y/N was full-on smiling. It was very weird and unsettling considering the situation. What was there to be smiling about? During such a crisis!?

"Of course not! Having sex with that woman makes my heart twist and turn in such horrible ways, I could never love that woman or even enjoy having sex with her."

The silence filled in the room again but this time the tension got thicker. Y/N's smile quickly fell. She has filled with anger again but this time it wasn't the cheating that occurred not too long ago but the purpose of it all.

"Why the hell did you force me into this marriage and force me to be your wife!?" Her vision got blurry as the tears started to fill in her eyes.

"Because we were bonded by fate. We were meant to be together for eternity." The fox demon rose from where he sat and walked towards Y/N. Hoping she would accept him into her arms.

"Get away from me you...you bastard... you took my whole life away from me! I haven't been here long but I'm already wanting to leave this place."

"Darling don't say that. We are together because our love was meant  to happen." They stood a few feet apart from each other. The gap felt so huge that it was hard to believe they were within arm's length of each other.

''Why are you putting me through all this pain? I've done nothing to deserve this." Y/N took some steps back as she couldn't stand the pressure of him being so close to her especially since he was completely naked. He could try to make a pass at her and force his way inside her again.

"You're not having your way with me again. I'm not letting myself suffer anymore. I'm leaving and I'm not turning back because I don't love you so stop filling your head with lies that I do because I don't. There is no love between us the only thing binding us together is this marriage and nothing more."

"LEAVE?" The fox demon's voice became demonic and the atmosphere got heavy as time went by. "Was that what you were planning to do before you entered this room? You think you can escape me but you can't because I own you you're mine and mine alone! You're nothing but a mere human you have no chance of surviving in this world without me.  Until you can learn to accept me as your husband and your gonna be in chains until I say you can't. You'll be at my beckoning and calling no matter what!" Y/N trembled terribly in fear as this dark side of the demon fox came out of nowhere, her legs gave out as the fear made her legs weak. She's never felt this scared in her life. The tear poured out from her eyes as she trembled. She did her best to hold in her cry it slowly slipped from her teeth.

"Guards!" A group of people hustled into the room and surrounded the two. There were about 20 of them in present from what could be counted. They all appeared expressionless and looked pale as if they had no blood flowing through their veins. Each of them wore dark cloaks that covered their whole body from head to toe. They looked like assassins at first sight.

"Your majesty, how can we serve you?" They all spoke at once union that it felt like one person. It would've been pretty cool if it weren't for the situation. They all had their complete undivided attention on the emperor except one.

"Bring the empress to a cell; one she can't escape and make she sure she's chained, do I make myself clear! His voice boomed loudly in the room, causing it to slightly shake.

"As you wish your highness!" one guard gently grabbed Y/N by her arm and pull her up to her feet and made their way toward the door as the other guards followed behind them as the fox demon watched.

If hell wasn't breaking loose then it's breaking loose now seeing that the fox demon is tired of playing the good guy card and has finally shown how scary he can be to Y/N. Maybe it was better this way. If he was any more careless with how he treated her...If Y/N's curiosity didn't take over, she would've gotten out of his reach.

"I need to make sure she loves me so I can get through this stupid curse of mine."

Sorry for the delay on the chapters to be honest I've been having a hard time trying to find inspiration to write this story since I started this story years ago. I never expected anyone to really find interest in this story. I'll do my best to continue this story.
