"Thank you Sister Claire for the arrangement, I'm leaving, Ma, Sister Eva." I said goodbye to the three of them. I left the house. It's still a bit difficult for me to walk because I'm wearing heels. Fortunately, it's not that high so I can still walk well. When I got to the gate itself, the car driven by Sean arrived just in time. Mang Gerry, Gov's new guard, was not there so I was forced to open the gate first. When the gate was opened I was surprised because Sean's car was not moving forward. So I frowned.

"What is it doing?" I walked up to the car and knocked on its windshield. "Sir, is there a problem?" I will ask.

The car's window rolled down and I saw Sean staring at my clothes.

"Where are you going?" it asked.

"To my friend, sir," I replied.

"To a friend? You're only going to see your friend wearing that nice outfit?" it said disappointedly.

What does he care where I go? Why is it bad if I wear this? Is it forbidden to wear nice clothes when meeting a friend?

"Do I need to explain to you sir why I am wearing this? Today is my day off, isn't it? So I can go wherever I want and whatever I want." I was irritated by this answer.

It looked like it was embarrassed by my answer so it didn't answer. It made the car move inside so I closed the gate. I proceeded out of the subdivision, the exit was also quite far. It's rare that tricycles enter there because almost all the people living in the subdivision are rich and ride bikes. So no one dared to hang around there to wait for a passenger.

I safely rode the tricycle and was dropped off in the jeep. It's also a bit far before I get to the restaurant that Julius said. That restaurant is quite expensive so it can be seen from the outside that almost only a few people have eaten there. I guess I was a little early because Julius wasn't there when I arrived. I sat in a chair there. It's a bit embarrassing because it's my first time to enter this place. A waiter came up to me and took my order. The menu was handed to me, and when I opened it, I fell in love with the dishes listed there. I swallowed hard and said—

"Can I order later? I'm still waiting for something."

"Okay, ma'am." The waitress nodded to me and left in front of me. I was blown out of the mouth. I feel very nervous now. My breathing seems to come first and I have a strong feeling in my chest. I looked at the watch on my arm. And that's when I noticed that Jilius was already 10 minutes late. Will that come or not?

Half an hour passed, Julius was still gone. I feel embarrassed inside the restaurant because I've been sitting there for a while. I keep knocking on the door but it's still not there. Until it took me an hour to wait. I decided to get up to go home, then Julius came. I was upset earlier because it didn't come at the time that was discussed but when it arrived, my sullenness suddenly disappeared.

"I'm sorry if I'm late. Because I'm from Cavite, I just went somewhere." It explained to me that I immediately understood.

I know it takes a lot of care. So I shouldn't expect it to arrive on time for the conversation. I just ignored the annoyance I felt earlier.

"It's okay, I thought you weren't coming so I was going home."

"I'm sorry, Aira. Let's sit in the chair." I sat down in my seat again. He took the menu that had been on the table. Order it without even estimating the price. Maybe it has already memorized the price of the restaurant. Do you want anything else, Aira? it asked me.

"Huh?!" I was surprised by this question. "Want something else? I didn't like anyone else..." my face turned red. Why the speed of his questions? But he laughed at what I said, even the waitress next to him smiled a little.

I mean if you want something else. Besides my onorders?

I was stunned by this question. "Ahhh... Is it an order? It's gone. I'm okay with your order." Embarrassed, I turned around, my face was red and my cheeks were hot. Why did I answer like that? I didn't even think he was talking about food.

The waitress left with our order. Julius and I were left behind. It looked at me smiling.

"You look nervous," he said.

I looked at him and gave him a smile. I'm still ashamed of what I said earlier.

"I'm sorry because I didn't know you were talking about food,"

"You still haven't changed, Aira. You are still a pleasure to talk to. You look even better today," he promised me.

I was a little shocked by what he said. I feel like I'm peeing from the boastful things coming out of his mouth.

"Thank you," I replied briefly.

"How are you? How are you and your friends? Where are they now? it asked.

"I'm fine, I don't see them anymore. They are angry with me since I couldn't do the last thing they did to me. By the way, it's about that—"

"I'm fine. Don't think about the past because nothing happened to me." It cut off what I was going to say.

He is okay because he has a girlfriend. He has moved on from me so our past is irrelevant. I guess I'm the only one who hasn't moved on and I always regret what I did then.

"I can see, you're happy with him so you've moved on." I said smiling but my heart was sad.

He just shrugged his shoulders at me, as if he didn't want to talk about his life, so I kept quiet. But this is what asked me.

"What are you up to today?" it asked.

"I work as Sean's assistant."

"Sean? Is he your son of Gov?

"Yeah." I couldn't hide from Julius what I was really doing in life. This is the only way I can make it up to him because I lied to him once and now I won't do it again.

"In that case, I'm your opponent..." he laughed at me.

"If that's what you have in mind,"

"I'm not afraid of losing, it's okay for me to lose if I can fight with you."

I laughed at what he said. To this day I am still thrilled and amused by its jokes that I hope are true. It really will do everything for me anyway.

"Oh, you. You still haven't changed, you still have a lot of jokes."

It just smiled at what I said. But it stared at me. It's like I'm lost in its gaze.

After Julius and I had a happy dinner, he took me to the house where I work.

"You live here in his house? Are you at home together? Julius asked me.

I'm ashamed to admit to Julius that we're just housemates here. Maybe he will stay away from me when he finds out that I lied to him. That it wasn't just love that I hid, but that my entire personality was also a lie.

Yes. I stay in here. Thank you for inviting me, be careful when you go home." I said goodbye, I was about to get out of his car but he stopped me by the arm so I turned to him.

"Wait, Aira." He came to me and kissed me on the cheek. "Good night, and thank you for coming. Next time, I promise I won't be late."
