I was frozen in place when Julius kissed me on the cheek. It's like I floated in the sky because I'm still stunned. Fortunately, the guard came out and knocked on the car window. I was stunned and panicked and got out of Julius's car. Mang Gerry saw me.

"That's you, Aira. I thought who was parked outside the gate."

"I'm sorry, Mr. Gerry. Come on, let's go inside."

I left Julius' parked car. He waited for me to enter the gate before he left. It was only then that I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw that Julius had already left.

"Who are you with, Aira? He looks handsome," Mang Gerry asked.

When I was at the door, I softly knocked on the door.

"Go ahead." A voice spoke and I was sure it was Sean. I turned the lock and gently pushed it. The door opened and I entered. I saw Julius on his balcony so I went there to ask what he needed. When I got closer, I noticed that he was only wearing a bath robe. He was holding a bottle of wine so I knew he was drinking.

"Do you need anything?" I will ask.

"I thought you were going to your friend's house? Who delivered you?" it asked.

"Huh?" I thought for a moment. By the way, you can see the passing car from outside when you stand on his balcony in front of the gate. "Ah, he just brought me because—" I was stunned when he faced me. It looks like he's drunk because his face is red up to his neck.

"Julius is with you, isn't he?" His eyebrows were arched and his voice was obviously angry. It came close to me that's why I was nervous.

"Hi-he's not with me..." I lied to him.

It scoffed at me, obviously not believing what I said.

I don't understand why Sean is like that now. I'm just wondering why he seems to know so much about my life.

The next day, Sean's whole family had breakfast together. That rarely happens because Gov is always busy. in its work every day. I was going to the kitchen at that time when Madam saw me.

"Aira, come here!" it calls me.

I approached them, I caught a glimpse of Sean who was eating seriously. Gov, on the other hand, smiled at me when he saw me, so I greeted him out of respect.

"Good morning, Gov."

It nodded at me. "Eat now," she said to me.

"Yes, sit there and join us to eat. I have something to say about that too." I couldn't refuse anymore, I sat right next to Sean because that was the only seat available. It's a bit far because if I sit in another seat, Madam might get angry with me. I'm more shy to side with Madam, so I'll just stick with Sean.

When I sat down, I stood up again to get the rice but Sean quickly handed it to me so I just sat down again.

"Thank you sir."

He didn't look at me, but I could feel his attention on me. It's embarrassing because Madam and Gov even looked at us because Sean just handed me rice. Maybe because they think that Sean treats me differently than the other maids. I was shocked when Madam called me.

"Aira, you and your sir are going somewhere tonight. Senator Garcia is having a birthday party, and they are inviting us. We're going somewhere so we can't go, it's up to you to entertain them, the important thing is even if Sean went, at least he won't think we're ignoring him."

"Okay ma'am," I quickly replied.

"After the party, go home right away. Always be careful on the road. Call me right away if there's a problem."

I nodded again.

"Okay ma'am," I replied again but Sean suddenly interrupted.

"No thanks, Mom. I'll just buy Aira some clothes. I don't want him to look like an assistant at the party later."

"Next time I don't want to see you go out without telling me where you're going. I don't know if that man is just using you to get information from me. Sean looked serious.

"W-what? Julius is my friend, he is not what you think." I'm still defending here, who is he to follow the one I want to be friends with, as far as I know, it's not my job to take care of my own life. It's too personal if he tells me I'm not allowed to go anywhere, when Julius is with me.

"Just do what I'm saying! You work for me don't you? So you should just follow what I said! And being your employee includes being loyal to me! After saying that, he stood up and left me. He didn't even finish his meal, he seemed to have lost his appetite.

I just sighed at what he said.

In the evening, while I was taking a bath in our own room, I heard a knock on the door. But I just shrugged because I knew it was just Mama. Maybe it just took something and then went out. I just wrapped a towel and came out of the cr and that's how surprised I was when I saw Sean sitting on my bed. When he saw me just naked, he was shocked. He was still staring at me from head to toe, so my cheeks felt like they were getting hot and I hid myself in my hand. I hugged my hand to my chest to hide the white cleavage that was clearly visible.

"What are you doing here?!" I asked in shock.

Embarrassed, he stood up and turned his back on me.

"So-sorry, I didn't know you were taking a bath." It apologizes to me.
