As we went down the stairs, I began to feel anxious and reached out to hold Colby's hand for comfort. Although I don't particularly enjoy surprises, as a child, they were always unpleasant experiences. Halfway down the stairs, I noticed a large crowd of people waiting at the bottom, which made me nervous due to my anxiety. I was unprepared to be around so many people today, so I let go of Colby's hand and swiftly made my way back up to the top of the stairs. I sat down on the top step to collect myself before facing the loud cheers and noises.
"what's wrong?" Colby asked sitting next to me and pulling me into his embrace
"t-that's a lot of people," I said with a small laugh at the end
"oh is that ok I didn't know you didn't like big crowed," He said pulling away
"ya it's ok I just need a second," I said
Sam then came walking up the stairs I'm guessing to come to find us and when he saw us he sat down next to me and I looked at him
"Everything ok?" Sam asked
"umm ya just needed a minute," I said not wanting to fully go into detail
"oh ok don't be too long but also take your time," He said
"ok," I said
He went back down and Colby pulled me back into his embrace and we stayed like that for a while longer and then Colby pulled away
"Are you ready?" Colby said
"as ready as ill ever be," I said
"ok let's go" Colby said
he got up and held his hand out for me and I took it and he helped me up and then I took a deep breath and then we walked downstairs to everyone and they were still standing there and they all gasped when they saw us
we walked through the crowd sighing the fans stuff looking for Sam and the boys and when we saw them they were talking to each other so we walked up to them
"Hi," I said
They all looked at us and Sam hugged me and I hugged him back
" you look amazing," Jake said as Sam pulled away from the hug
"ya what he said," Cory said
"thanks," I said
"I'm glad you are ok" Jake said
"same here," I said
"anyway what is all this," I asked
"well is a birthday party and a welcome home party," Sam said
"oh thanks," I said
"it's ok," Sam said
"anyway is there alcohol?" I asked
"yep right over here," Sam said
he took Me Cory Jake and Colby over to the kitchen and poured me a cup of whisky and passed it to me I chugged it and then placed it on the bench
"dang you ok?" Jake said with a small laugh after
"yep I'm amazing," I said
I poured some tequila into my cup from the bottle and approached the boys. They appeared shocked as they gazed at me.
"What?" I asked
"I didn't think of you as the party type," Cory said
"I'm not I just love drinking," I said
