chapter 2: can Luz befriend alduin?

As Luz and Alduin locked eyes with each other for a brief moment, Alduin rises from his short rest and stood in front of luz whilst over oversizing the human, Alduin roars in terror as Luz tries to make a run for it, she runs down the mountain like her life depends on it, but Alduin was easily able to catch up by using his wings to glide down the mountain. Luz was able to make it down the mountain with no scratches, but the mighty dragon lands in front of Luz, completely catching her off guard, Luz changes directions as quickly as she can and throws a piece of paper with an ice glyph on ground, creating a huge ice wall between herself and Alduin. "Oh god, that was a close one", Luz thought as she thought she was safe from the mighty beast when all of a sudden, "Fus-Ro-Dah!" Alduin shouted as a thunderous and loud sound generated behind the ice wall, completely shattering the wall to pieces and blowing Luz away.

Luz is on the ground weak and low on stamina as Alduin walks up to her presence, Luz looks up at the dragon as she knew she was about to die, "wo los hi wah krilon hel hin nuvah ahst zey joor?" Alduin spoke in dragon tongue, Luz never understood what the dragon said, before she could even speak to Alduin, he spoke once again, "You don't know my tongue do you? Who are you mortal?"Luz understood and said, "I-I'm Luz Noceda, I'm a s-student at Hexside, and my m-mentor is Eda the owl lady" "w-who are you?", scared but politely asks the dragon. Alduin for some reason hesitates to introduce himself, but he eventually does, "I am Alduin, first born of akatosh, I devour worlds to fulfill my destiny as the world eater, I am immortal, and cannot be slain!"As Luz Noceda stood there, shocked and terrified, she eventually responded, "but, don't you think there's more to your immortal life than just to destroy and conquer worlds, you could be a hero, or you could be teac-"

"ZU'U ALDUIN!!" the mighty dragon responded aggressively, "It's my destiny to consume worlds that are within my grasp Luz Noceda" "But what about what YOU want to do Alduin? You can't just focus on one thing in life because it's your destiny." "Destiny cannot be changed!" "It's your own life Alduin, just because it's your destiny, doesn't mean it's stoned inside your life, Are you even happy with who you are, is anyone happy with your decisions?". With the words that came out of Luz's mouth, It made Alduin think for once in a million years. He looked back at the destruction he caused for thousands of years and thought to himself, "if I were them, would I be happy?" the mighty dragon thought, He looked at Luz and saw a bright future ahead of her, she was a proud and hopeful person. "Thank you Luz Noceda, you've given me so much to think about" said Alduin in a calm deep voice, "yeah, no problem" said Luz thankfully.

You're a student at hexide, and Eda the owl lady is your mentor? Never heard such a thing " Alduin repeated, "I could tell... Would you like me to show you around the boiling isles?" "Boiling isles?" Alduin said in question, "oh you I haven't told you yet, The land that your on is called the boiling isles, it's magical and filled witches with mysteries that's yet to be explored" Luz responded, "I could show you around the land, starting with the owl house; where my mentor lives" "very well Luz, your the only mortal to ever be welcoming towards me, normally everyone would fear me as I'm a mighty dragon to destroys worlds" "well you know what they say, Never judge a book by it's cover" "I'm not a book, what are you talking about?" "Nevermind" luz ending the conversation. As they are about to head off to the distance, Alduin asks Luz one more thing, "Why were you following me Luz?" "well... I was curious, I heard your roar and went to check it out, yes it could have killed me, but I want to learn more about this world" Luz responded.

looking at Alduin, he was curious and a bit surprised as he stared down at the small human, "curious about me, and you want to learn more about this world?" "yessss?" Luz answered nervously, "hmmmmm... You're not from this world, are you Luz noceda?" said alduin as he figured it out instantly, "why have you come to this world Luz, are you like me? I DEMAND TO KNOW WHO YOU REALLY ARE, LUZ NOCEDA EXPLAIN!!" The mighty dragon said agressivly, Luz just stood there with fear, but she understood and explained to Alduin, "ok, I'll explain everything. I'm not from this world at all, I'm from another world that we call "earth", Its full the most normal people, and things you can think of, but one day as I was getting ready for a reality check summer camp that my mom signed me up for, because I was very different kid in my school, and caused some trouble. that was until an animal just grabbed my things, as I rushed to follow that rodent I followed it to a house that was abandoned that was near mine. Doing that lead me to this dimension, Eda had given me the choice to go back to my world, I felt involved in this world, it felt like I was ment to be born here, and so through a long lasting journey, and a few bullies I got through and friends I've made, here I am: walking with a dark and scary looking dragon that devours worlds..."said Luz as she quickly explains her backstory "well what about your parents? Do you miss them?" Alduin asks Luz, "no, my mom thinks that I'm in summer camp, if I go back there she is probably going to lift me up and take me back to that camp herself *giggles* ". "well, when the day comes for you to return home again, Just remember you've survived the destroyer of worlds. "
Luz giggles as she and Alduin continue to create a bond and make memmories, "welp, I'm pretty sure that no one saw us due to the fact that we took the long way, but here we are: The Owl House!".
