🐺 "where are you?"
🐧 "just stopped studying at the cafe... why?"
🐺 "im picking you up"
🐧 "why? what is happening? you're scaring me and minho-"
🐺 "i'll explain everything later, i'll be there in 5 minutes and turn off your phone"
🐧 "chan why-"

chan hangs up and sunghoon is to be honest even more scared than he was before. he turns off his phone as chan said and gets up from his place to walk outside with his stuff. it's raining so he keeps on waiting at the front door of the cafe until he sees chan.
after the 5 minutes chan promised, chan finally arrives and opens the passengers door. sunghoon gets in and puts his bag on the backseat. without any hesitation chan starts to drive away and before sunghoon knows he steps foot in chan's house.
it has been quiet the whole ride, sunghoon only could think of what can happen to minho. he really hopes he'll be fine but he can sense that things are getting pretty bad. chan looks at the lost boy and finally speaks up.
"listen carefully to me okay?"
"chan... you're scaring me..."
"sunghoon... your parents are getting divorced... and they wanna split you and minho up..." chan says and the tears immediately start to build up in sunghoon's eyes, feeling like as if his soul is leaving his body. sunghoon feels his body getting weaker to the point he falls down on his knees while being a crying mess. chan kneels down next to him and embraces him in a big hug, sunghoon accepting it and hugging back very tightly.
chan has known sunghoon for 7 years now and has always seen him as a little brother so it breaks him to see sunghoon like this. chan has always been there for the park brothers, especially since he and minho got into a relationship 3 years ago, a relationship where minho's parents dont even know off, they just think chan is a friend. knowing sunghoon and minho need to split up makes chan's heart break but he really can't do anything about it.
"i-im so done with l-life..."
"sshh... i know that but please keep on fighting.... you'll leave this mess behind one day... i promise"
"i-im trying..."
