"so how about a sleepover at my place this weekend??!" kai asks as he sits down at his friends's table, catching all the side eyes he could get. he frowns and grabs his lunch out of his bag. "don't look at me like that"

"says mister i work way too much and don't have time for my friends" haewon rolls her eyes and turns around, her back facing kai. jake and sunoo are trying very hard not to laugh but fail as they see haewon trying not to laugh too, so she turns around. "okay okay, im messing with you"

"mean, did not miss that at all"

"ow you know me kai kai, i mess with everyone"

"especially with my heart" jake mumbles but it was loud enough for haewon to hear it. she turns around while saying 'hmm' and jake almost falls from his chair but haewon grabs his hand. "w-wow nothing"

"okay then"

"so... what do you guys think?? sleepover??"

"did you lose your job?? because why is this so sudden??" sunoo asks and yawns after it. kai shakes his head and explains that he asked for some free days on the weekends. his friends cannot believe he asked that so they keep on twisting kai's words. "how is it even possible?? i thought they needed you"

"they doooo but they have a new system so they can miss 1 person, stop twisting my words and questioning my decision, i thought y'all wanted me to take some free days... y'all missed me" kai pouts.

"it's just, you're so passionate about it and we didn't think you would do it this early... let's do the sleep over okay??" jake says with a smile hoping to make kai smile too. it works and kai nods his head. "i'm glad you're taking some time off, you're a human too and i bet you're rich now"

"i wish, im not but i'm finally not in debt anymore with my apartment so that's why i wanna do a sleep over"

"well im in" jake says and quickly after that haewon also agrees on it. the 3 three of them are now waiting on sunoo's answer but nothing seems to happen, sunoo only has eyes on someone who just step foot in the canteen, his beloved sunghoon. a small smile appears on his face as he remembers the chaotic mess that was going on this weekend on their server. this weekend they gamed until very late and that's very visible because as soon as sunghoon yawns sunoo yawns too. "gamed until late??"

"hm what?" sunoo responds and looks at jake but he can feel the other two's eyes glued onto him. he chuckles nervously and scratches the back of his head. "im in for the sleep over and it was just till 5 am..."

"you're obsessed"

"we just had a two week exam! i didn't game once with them and we finally could, i promise i wont game when we're sleeping over" sunoo says and his friends look at him as if they dont believe him. he just sticks out his tongue to them and leans back against the chair. he looks back at sunghoon's direction but sees that he's gone. so close yet so far away.
