"mom!! shut up for once!! it's not mine or sunghoon's fault that you lost your job!!!" minho yells at his mom while chan is trying to calm him down. sunghoon rushes downstairs and his eyes light up when he sees minho, but then his mom grabs onto his arm and holds it very tightly.

"m-mom..."

"shut up!! you are not gonna take him from me. me and your dad came to an agreement that i have sunghoon and he has you!! how the fuck are you even here?!"

"because dad finally gave up!! gave up to listen to you, he's shitty but he at least let me go. just like how i want you to let sunghoon go."

"i won't let him go" she says and holds sunghoon even tighter and tighter, to the point sunghoon almost can't feel his hand anymore. minho gets closer to her and tries to reach his arm out but she slaps it away. "don't touch him."

"mom you can't even take care of yourself, why do you want sunghoon?? he's a grown up now, he deserves his own life!! you've never been there for him, who raised him up? me! because you're a workaholic and now that you lost your job you want at least one thing in your life that works but mom no, it doesn't work like that. where is the love and respect? we tried to show you we love and respect you, even with all the bullshit you did. you can't give it back so let us be." minho says and his mom, surprisingly starts to tear up. she lets sunghoon go and he immediately gets behind minho, chan getting over to them to look at sunghoon's arm. "mom... after all these years i still care about you but this can't go on anymore. let us go... you're weren't the best mom so letting us go would be better for you, im not saying we should stop contacting each other but let's enter a new chapter"

"j-just go... before i change my mind... go live your lives..." she says and her sons look at her in disbelief, making her drop some tears. "s-sunghoon can move out... really... go before i c-change my mind"

"you're really doing the right thing mom... please try to better your life..." minho says before they all leave the house, leaving their mom alone. sunghoon can't even think twice before he also sees heeseung standing in front of him. he immediately gives him a hug and of course heeseung hugs him back.

"hey bestie"

"a-are we done with the surprises now...??"

"well..." minho says and sunghoon backs away to look at his brother. "chan and i bought a house, in the town we've been talking about a lot, we can live there and start all over again"

"r-really?!" sunghoon asks with a smile and finally embraces minho in a big hug, a hug he missed for so long. minho tightly hugs back and it feels like all his weight goes off his shoulders. finally it feels like their lives are back on track again. "thank y-you for not giving up"

"also thank you for not giving up" minho backs away a bit and cups sunghoon's face. "you've been so strong, im so proud of you" and pecks sunghoon's forehead.
