'I-I feel so useless'

-Nine years later-
-September 9th 2036-
-Age 30-

Willow was out looking around for more supplies for the pair. Five went out the day before and was making something for Willow before she got back.

Five and Willow had been dating since the two told each other they liked each other after they made out... that was nine years ago. Their relationship didn't really change much they were always close and told each other everything. The only difference was that they kissed and well...

Anyway like I was saying Five was making something to surprise Willow with.

"I'm back, Shorts," Willow said as she dropped down on the old couch in the old liberty next to Five.

He quickly shoved what he was going to surprise her with in his pocket when she dug her head in her hands.

"You okay?"

Willow sighed shaking her head. "It was a bust," she groaned. "I couldn't find anything useful."

"It's okay," Five said rubbing her back. "It was one fail scavenge."

"It's not okay," she stood up. "This whole entire time we've been here I've struggled to find stuff. You..." she paused. "You've been so lucky. You found most of the supples for us and you're working on equations to help us get home. I-I feel so useless."

Five paused as he watched her. He didn't know she felt like this. Willow was not useless, she's been a big help in so many different ways. She was the one building the structures and finding the places for them to sleep.

She may of not have been good at finding things they can use or eat but she was good with places to sleep. Five didn't want her feeling like she was useless when she was far from that.

Five stood up and walked over to her putting his hand on her shoulder. "I don't want to be a burden to you."

"Your not," Five stated. Willow shook her head not looking up at him. "Will."

Willow wasn't listening, she didn't want to hear Fives 'lies'.

"Will," Five said in a stern voice. He put his hand under her chin and turned her face to look at him. "You're not a burden. You're the exact opposite."
