⚠️ SPOILER ALERT S03E12 ⚠️
Little bit of fluff!
Josh x Buck

/Buck POV/

It was an ordinary afternoon, just me, this bowl of popcorn, the TV and my only problem being to decide which show I want to watch - or at least I thought so.

I got disturbed by my phone so I groaned cause that thing was in the other side of the room. I went to pick it up but looked at it, and was surprised by the name I saw. Maddie? She barely calls me, she prefers real contact, at least with me. With Chimney it's obviously different, if they aren't speaking to each other, it's a game of "Which one goes crazy first?".

-Hi Maddie, is everything okay? - I answered the phone, getting straight to the point, not hiding that I'm suspicious about her call.

-I-I am? Why wouldn't I be? - she asked pretty confused, but I guess she's used to me by now cause she didn't even let me answer to her question. - Remember when you broke my TV cause you and Han got too overwhelmed by a football game? - she asked, but again, cut me off before I could even take a breath. - You told me that some day you'll repay it to me.

-Oooh I see where this is going - I giggled as I calmed down. - How much? - I put the phone on speaker while I started to search for my wallet. I remember I left it on the counter but then why can't I see it?

-Well... it's kinda... - she sighed. - I don't want money, I want you to do me a favor instead - she said seriously so I stopped what I was doing and slowly turned my body towards the phone as she was standing behind me.

-Depends... What do you want me to do? - I crossed my arms in front of my chest, looking down at the device. It must be something weird that I wouldn't normally never do, she knows I'll do anything for her. She doesn't need an excuse like that to make me do something, unless it's strange.

-You know, Josh had a though day yesterday and... I couldn't help but offered him something I maybe shouldn't have - she stopped but I didn't say a word, was patiently waiting for her to finish it, which happened after a long sigh. - Can you take him on a date? - she spit it out. My eyes got big, almost fell out but I immediately shut them cause I started to choke on my own saliva. - Jeez, are you okay?

-No Maddie, I am not okay! - I picked up the phone and started to walk around my apartment. - How could you ask something like that? I-I'm not gay! I'm into woman, I've never seen a guy in that way, I've only dated girls! - I said, being a bit angry with her. How could she?!

-Right, I know! But he's so lonley, and by the way, so are you! - she pointed at me. - He just wanted someone who loves him, but instead he got beaten up and robbed - she sighed, so I stayed quiet for a bit.

-He... what? - I mumbled.

-The guy he was meeting with set him up and with a friend of his, Josh got beaten up, pretty badly. He feels really ashamed of himself, he didn't even report the guy to the police, he lied to them, saying he doesn't remember how they looked - she said with one breath. - He said he'll never see anyone again and... I-I just couldn't watch him isolate himself like that... Please Buck, I'm so sorry for doing this to you, but he's also your friend and maybe- - she wanted to continue but this time I cut her off.

-Yes Meddie, he's a FRIEND! A friend that I don't want to lose...

-And you didn't, he's still your friend and is very happy to hear that you're interested in him - she tried to convince me but I wasn't giving it up that easily.

-I-I can't do it, I'm sorry.. Tell him I'm busy or I found someone, I don't know, lie to him, like you always do - I said seriously and hung up immediately after. I threw the phone on my couch and then ran my fingers across my hair, grabbing onto it at the end. How could I date one of my MALE friends? That is disgusting... I mean I'm not judging gay people, I am very supportive towards them, I just can't imagine myself with a guy.
