I quickly grabbed my stuff and headed out the door and my friends followed right behind me. I know my feet were moving, but my mind was racing, thinking about all the possibilities of what she could be doing. Once my friends caught up to me, they started asking me all the questions I was already thinking. "What are you going to do?" Charlie said. "What if she kills your family?" Sam said. "Why would you say that," Lily said. "I know!" Charlie and I add. But now my mind starts going down that road but quickly stops, remembering what Madame Esmerelda said. She wants love, she wants what I have. And just then I stopped. "What are you doing? says Lily. Yeah? Why'd you stop? they all faintly said to me. "I just remembered what the Madame told us, so now it's time to make a plan."
We slowed down our pace and began to devise a plan. By the time we got on my block, the plan was well put together. Charlie was supposed to get as much information as he could get from the rock god and hopefully, we can get Chiyo back to where she came from. Sam, Lily, and I decided we were going to camp out in the back of my closet behind my clothes and watch Chiyo while working out the rest of our plan to get her back. Charlie left. Sam and Lily ran home to get stuff for our 'stake out.'
They met back up with me and we walked through the alley. We snuck up to the kitchen window, and watch Chiyo interacting with my family. It was about time for dinner and she was doing too much. Helping my mom do everything before dinner is something that I do not do, but here she is doing it. I motioned to keep moving and get to my bedroom window. Below my window is a fence connected to the house, so we climbed it, all the way up to my room through the window, and situated ourselves in the closet.
Sitting in my closet listening to Chiyo pretend to be me, I couldn't wait for Charlie to call us with good news.
