The window seemed more interesting than her Algebra 1 class, well that's how Zelda describe it as. She looked dreamily outside wishing to be out on the beautiful spring day. She usually loved school and paid attention, but today was different.
"Ms. Himekrea?" The teacher asked snapping Zelda focus. She turned to the board and notice the teacher asked her a question.
"Ms. Himekrea? Do you know the answer?" The teacher repeated, Zelda said in desk tomato ketchup red. She stared at her Algebra 1 textbook and looked down.
"Then I advise you to pay attention." Then the teacher turned to the board and continued writing more boring useless equations. But Zelda couldn't move she was so humiliated she couldn't look up. As the teacher continued to talk about variables and other boring math stuff Zelda watched the clock. 5...4...3...2...1 The bell rang singing a wonderful tune to Zelda ears. She quickly leaped out of her desk and ran out of the class.
"Don't forget about our test tomorrow students." The teacher said but Zelda was already long gone. She got to her locker opened it and was getting ready for the head of the school day until someone bumped into her making her spill her magnets. All her light rose pink magnets scattered everywhere over the school hallway. Zelda bent down and pick them up as she heard laughter around her. As she reached for a magnet someone helped her grab the magnets. When Zelda was down she went to thank the stranger and to her surprise her it was Link. The cutest boy in her grade. All the girls loved and drowned for him, asking him out and stuff. But she would have never guessed he helped her.
"T-Thanks." She said trying not to blush. The boy smiled that look pretty matching his golden blonde hair.
"Anytime." He said and lefted. Butterflies fluttered in her stomach.

When she got home she couldn't stop thinking about Link. When she was ready to go to bed she hugged her pillow.
"Maybe life will get better?" Zelda thought and drifted to sleep smiling. Ever since Zelda mother died life had always been tough, her father struggled to live normally and how to raise Zelda without a mother. Zelda woke up the next morning cheerful like a door was opened in her life.
"Good morning father." Zelda said happily and ate her waffles with strawberries, sprinkled with syrup and whipped cream. As Zelda ate her father knew something was up with Zelda.
"Dear Zelda what's on your mind?" Her father asked as a servant gave him coffee.
"Thank you." He told the servant and looked back at Zelda. Zelda ate her waffle and set her silver fork to the table. She sighed and looked towards her father.
"Crushes." She said and left for school.

"Zelda your bother by something?" Said Zelda's best firiend Avery. Avery was a nice sweet girl and smart. But had a terrible temper, anytime Zelda was bullied Avery made the bullies pay and beg for mercy. She was sick yesterday and wasn't there to see Zelda get in trouble and humiliated herself and meet Link. She tried to brush way the feelings but always reappeared.
"C'mon Zel." Avery continued to pester. Zelda sighed and told her the whole story.
"Wow, that's quite a tale." Avery said. Zelda sighed.
"I doubt he likes me back, first crushes never stick." Zelda said as she looked out the bus window putting her arm on the window sill.
"Just see and wait maybe this is different." Avery said as the walked off the bus. Days turned into weeks and Avery was right. After the indecent, Link and her met after school everyday and the two felt they were getting close, but felt a distances. In no time the Festival of Lights was approaching fast. The Festival of Lights was to honor all the past heroes and heroines who fought to protect Hyrule, and a tradition to set candles into the water and perfect place for a date.
It was any average school day at Castle High as Zelda closed her locker and jumped to see Link leaning against the neighboring locker.
"Hi Link." She said still shocked. Link looked around and asked her something.
"What to she the Festival of Light together tonight?" He asked with his cute smile.
"Sure, I'm free." Zelda said as the two smiled until the first bell rang. That evening Zelda wore her prettiest kimono and tied her hair in a bun.
"Perfect." She told herself and head out the door. She waited for Link outside her house, and checked her phone. As soon as Link got there he wore a kimono too and Zelda couldn't help but blush. He had his hair in a messy cute ponytail and smiled at her. The tow talked as they drove to the Festival. When they reached the lake Zelda breathed in the nice cold crispy breeze on the night.
"Ready?" Link asked and placed a lantern into the night. As it sailed with other ones she rested her head in Link's enjoying the view. The two had a blast, trying food, winning prizes and wearing funny masks. After all the fun Zelda and Link walked up a hill and watched the fireworks.
"Today was a great night." Link said watching the fireworks. Zelda smiled as she hugged her bear Link won her. The two looked into the night and then called it a night. As Zelda and Link walked down the path Zelda felt sleepy and slept on Link's shoulder. Link looked at her and smiled.
"Good-night my Princess." He said and kissed her on the cheek.
