The Pride (Blue Lock x OC insert)

The Next Phase

The U-20 team was in a state of shock. Except Itoshi Sae, who was all to familiar to what was unfolding.

FLASHBACK

A young man with a buzzcut approaches Sae as he gets knocked down to the ground.

"And you call yourself a striker? Pfft, you're a disappointment to every striker in the world. Go play as a midfielder, maybe that'll suit trash like you better."

FLASHBACK END

"Tch." 

The game restarts as 10 minutes remain. Will dribbles the ball as he passes it to Isagi, who passes it back to him. He gets trapped by all 4 U-20 defenders.

"Pft, you can try, but you won't succeed."

He shoots it right at the goal. But in the nick of time, Sae Itoshi heads it away. 

And in a quick glance, Will knows Sae was serious now.

"Hey, hey! Come on now, you don't need to use metavision on an exhibition match!"

"Fuck off."

Sae Itoshi goes past Will, but he quickly recovers chasing him down. With a quick spin Sae goes past Aryu but comes face to face with Rin, who has an almost devilish killing intent.

"KILL"

"You still have that habit of sticking your tongue out."

Rin doesn't reply as he charges at Sae like a zombie.

"The goal that you missed just now should be an obvious meaning that you are at your limit."

"Die....... Kill......"

They go at each other, the other not having an advantage over the other.

"Will you look at that, you can still make that face."

And in the most unexpected outcome, Sae gets the ball stolen from him by Rin. The ball goes straight to Will.

"It's all yours, Isagi."

He crosses the ball to Isagi, and with one final direct shot. The ball goes through spiking at the net. The referee blows his whistle as the game ends. 

The Blue Lock eleven wins

The crowd goes wild as team Blue Lock gathers around Isagi, congratulating him.

Isagi then gets interviewed. After Isagi it's Will's turn, he then gets asked a question he didn't expect to get.

"Why did you join Blue Lock in this game?"

A few seconds pass without an answer. 

"Why did I join Blue Lock in this match? Hm........... I would be lying if I said I joined this match to scout my opponents for the U-20 world cup."

He says giggling at the reporters.

"It's just that...... the players in Blue Lock........ they intrigue me. I have never seen players like them before. So that must've been why I wanted to join them. I wanted to...... get the feeling, to play with them."

With the reporters satisfied with his answer. He goes to join Blue Lock, the moment he enters the room he gets absolutely mobbed by nearly everyone.

"Ow, ow, ow!"

"How the hell did you do that hat trick!? Please teach me!"

Igarashi says almost breaking Will's ribs.
