My mom found me curled up in the corner of the shed ranting about the lights. The worried look on my face didn't phase me, I need to remember what happened to Will. I need to remember the girl. The one with no hair that just whimpered. The voices in my head bounced around banging on my skull. I need to find Will and Eleven. I blinked her name was Eleven, the mystery girl from my dream. My nightmare actually.

I put on my school clothes and waited for Steve's fancy car to pull into the drive way. Steve Harrington was the most popular boy in all of Hawkins high. His honey brown hair was his most noticeable feature and everyone's favorite too. I'm my opinion I didn't like it that much. I stood on the porch in the cold October air. I was a person who enjoyed warm weather, but Will enjoyed the cold more. Thinking of it where was he. I shrugged it off he was probably just got to school early. I glared at the BMW 733i that sped into the drive. When I pulled open the door I was still glaring.
"Hey children in the back," Steve said.
"Haha," I fake a laugh and climb into the seat.
I really liked Steve, but I really hated him when he was with his friends. Tommy was the worst of them all though. I tried to avoid him as much as I could which was hard because he was one of Steve's best friends. I didn't sit with them during lunch because I didn't have the same lunch hour, but I did have the boys. I was staring out the window when I saw Jonathan speeding by to pick up Nance.
"Isn't that your brother," Steve asked tilting his head towards the tan car in front of us.
"Yep probably late picking up Nance," I said lazily resting my on the cold window.
"You ok Sam," he asked putting a hand on my shoulder and the other on the steering wheel.
"Ya Steve, just a late night with the gang. I don't know how Will got up so early this morning," I replied and smiled at his protective boyfriendness showing.
"Ok just making sure," he focused back on driving and pulled into the school parking lot.
I gave him a kiss on the cheek and ran to fine the rest of the crew.
"Have you seen Will he came to school early today," I asked everyone else when I finally found them.
"He came to school early again," Lucas asked.
One thing you need to know about us is we're science and book smart, but we hate every other subject. Well I love history because of the monsters from ancient history because it helps with D and D.
Our first class is Science and Will should be there. We all walk in and take our seats, but when the bell rang Will still wasn't there.
He probably just got sick and went home. Nothing ever happens in Hawkins, nothing bad at least. As I was walking to my locker I started thinking about my nightmare from last night. The blinking lights and the tall figure. The hairless girl and the shed. I thought of Will's scream in my dream of pure terror. I hadn't had a dream like that in at least 6 years. I could sense someone behind me so I focused on their movement. I felt arms around my waist then someone picking me up.
"Steve you jerk," I slap his arm, but kiss him anyway.
"Hey Sammy," He laughed, "Anyway I heard you have a big test coming up. I can help you study."
"Study," I ask staring at him doubtfully.
"Yes, study. I also wanted to invite you to my house this weekend for a get together."
"Let me guess, you'll be getting super drunk at this get together," I ask he probably already knew my answer was no.
"No alcohol I promise," Steve said grabbing my hand and looping pinky's with me.
"Fine," I reply just giving up.
"So yes to studying too," he asked his brown eyes pleading.
"Ya if my moms okay with it," I sigh.
"Ok, bye," He walked off to his next class, leaving me alone in the hallway.
The rest of the day was a blur I just wanted to get home to see Will. I think this is the longest we've ever been apart.
"Samantha, have you seen Will," mom asked as soon as I walked in the door.
"No I thought he was sick," I asked worry crawling into my bones, " Is he not here."
It was a dumb question to ask. I already knew the answer and if I thought about I really knew all day that something was wrong. I could feel it like twin radar. We knew when something was wrong with the other. I just thought he was sick that was all. I broke when mom shook her head no to my very dumb question.
