Manika : Rollercoaster

||05|| First day ||

TINGGGG...

Its just lift , help me to came out of my ohh so ROMANTIC fantasy . As I step inside the lift and press the button of 8th floor . With no anxiety as now it's my second time here . while organizing my thought I ignore all those positive comments that my soon-to-colleagues are giving me .
" Yaa she really looks cool type , I wish she is single . I want her to be mine . "
Other unmarried guy i guess said " she is too good to be with you perfectly fine figure and amazing fashion sense ." This comment literally touches my heart maybe because in my entire school life I am just a popular loner with maximum 2 friends only . So I just show my gratitude toward all the people in the lift .
" Thank you for all your positive comments and as its my first day i want you all to teach me if anything I am doing wrong . "
As I reached my office floor .
Firstly I went to make a coffee at cooperative cafeteria to make a slightly sweet coffe with less milk and suger and a full tablespoon coffee in it of temperature 48°c . I went to Mr. Bose who is sitting inside his office with eyes fixed on the computer screen . So , I went to Mr. Bose directly to make him aware that I am on time .
Knock .. knock ..
" Sir , Manika reporting on time sharp at 8:00:00 . "
" I like your punctuality with my coffee , Good . "
As I placed the coffee on the desk with a lid over it so this won't spill and end up ruining his documents .
" Manika , I want you to fetch file of Ms. Banerjee and read it thoroughly and make a quick recap presentation for me and the team . "
" Ohk , Sir but before this I want to know the official relation we have with Ms. Banerjee . "
" Sure as I have mailed you the most I can and all of that i will tell you . So she is a model for our company and now she got popular she want to end our contract with her . "
" So , Sir do we have make her think again about her decision or to let her go . "
" It's always her right and we will not pressurize her . If she stay she will complain about everything and if she leave she will face the consequences . "
"Right now you just do this and its due till lunch."
"Ohk sir I will because i am getting paid for this."
"Good now you can leave."
"Thank you sir." I bowed and leave my Boss's room with a slight smile on my lips .
It took me 11 minutes to find the room and 4 minutes to make a copy of it because I have that bad habit of marking on pages and highlighting important facts now I am sitting on my desk and reading the document thoroughly . After 5 minutes of reading I started marking or highlighting the facts that I need to . when I was going to open my tablet to start making a presentation at the same time I got the very first call from the landline that was placed on the corner of my desk
*Who is calling at this early morning* ,
"Yes , Manika speaking Mr. Bose's assistant from sundara fashion industries , how can I help you."

"Manika , I am Mr. chatterjee and I am secretary of Ms. Banerjee as she asked me to fix a meeting with Mr. Bose as an official meeting about the legal contract between us."

"Ohk sir , I will convey about this to Mr. Bose."
* So they wanna hold meeting *
I went to deliver this news to Mr.Bose . But unfortunately he was having a meeting . So I went back to make presentation for the recap of Ms. Banerjee .
After like 40 minutes Mr. Bose came out from his room with some people I don't know how they are maybe when I was in the room he arrived . As they went to the lift Mr. Bose came back and I reach him out with my high heels and start coming beside him and telling him about the call from Mr. Chatterjee assistant of Ms. Banerjee about holding a meeting with our company . he tell me to come inside his office . As I entered with him he tell me one thing only that is
"Call Mr. Chatterjee and tell him that recently I , your Boss is busy with hiring some new models for our company."

"Ohk Sir , should I do it right now."
"Yes right in front of me."
"Ohk , sir."
"Hello Mr. Chatterjee , I Manika assistant of Mr. Bose from sunder fashion industries."
"Oh Yes , I know .So can you please kindly let me know about the appointment I asked for . "
" We are very sorry sir as nowadays Mr. Bose is consumed in finding a new model. And he want to complete this task before meeting Ms. Banerjee. "
" Ohk then we can wait for him to complete his job . "
" Thank you for understanding . have a great day --- "
He hang up before letting me complete how arrogant . I really am start to hating him .
I think my face reflects how I felt about get hanged up in the middle .
" Ms. Manika , now you can get over from this face of yours and get back to work . "
" Yes sir , I will get back to my work now . "
" I want you to do the presentation sharp at 12 , with no excuse . "
" I will not mess sir and I am sure about it . "
" And Thank you sir for the guidance. "
As now i was going back to my desk to complete the work . In between I collide with I don't know maybe one of my colleague I guess .
" Ahh , sorry I didn't mean to collide . "
" Ahh , its ohk , I think you are new here. "
" Yes , Its my first day and I am appointed as Mr. Bose's assistant here . "
" Then all the best , I wish you can survive here . "
" Why are you saying this ?!! "
" maybe because I don't want you to be get fired in the first week of you new job ."
" And why though."
" Mr. Bose don't like it when someone do indiscipline and be late . "
" Ohk , I will remember that and became a long lasting assistant for Mr. Bose .
And your friend as well here . "
" Yes , why not but right now we should get back to work . otherwise. "
" I know what can happen . But before getting back to work just tell me your name . "
" Ohh , Its Ridhima ."
