"Shit!" I mumbled when I heard the thunder outside.
I don't like thunder. I hate it. Its like a worst enemy. I cant deal with it. I ran upstairs to find Timothy but then remembered he was at work when my feet got me to the top of the stairs.
I grabbed my headphones and ran downstairs. I wrapped myself in a blanket, put on the headphones and played music while hugging my legs.
I sang the lyrics to myself to block out the thunder and I closed my eyes to try and ignore the lightning.
I then felt a tap on my shoulder. I opened my eyes to see Timothy next to me.
I slowly took off my headphones.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
Tim knew I was afraid of thunder and every time it happened, he checked on me.
"Not really," I shook my head.
"You're really lucky they sent us home or you wouldn't have my chest to cuddle up to," He wrapped his arms round me and I did cuddle into his chest.
He was comforting and in that moment all I needed was him.
