Chapter 1 - The Beginning of The Year

Cloud woke up in the morning with his favorite friend, morning wood. The blonde sighs with frustration and gets up for school. It's his senior year of high school and he has a crush with someone he's known since childhood, Squall Leon Loire. There is a knock on the door, once he put on his clothes, he opened the door, a little girl with blonde hair, blue eyes was behind the door. 

Cloud: Hey Namine, how are you feeling today? 

Namine: I'm alright, um are you alright? 

Cloud: Yea just another dream about my crush. 

Namine giggles and went downstairs, Cloud went down the stairs to see his family. The first person he sees is Cindy, a short blonde and olive green eyes. Then he sees Lunafreya, long blonde hair and blue eyes. Now the other is Prompto, Roxas, and Ventus eating breakfast. Cloud sits down and eats his breakfast. 

Prompto: Hey big bro, ready for school day? 

Cloud: I rather stay home than see HIM today. 

His family knows about his feelings toward Squall and has been trying to get him to confess, but Cloud is a very stubborn man. 

Cindy: Oh come on Cloud, it took Prompto a long time to finally confessed to Noctis about his feelings. You can do it too. 

Cloud: He just confess his feeling to my best friend, this is SQUALL FRICKEN LOIRE! I don't want him to know that I like him, it'll ruin our friendship. 

Luna put a hand on Cloud's shoulder and gave him a soft smile 

Luna: I understand that it's scary to lose Squall, but we want to see you happy Cloud. 

Luna is very good at giving people advise when needed it the most. Cloud sighs and leaves the house for school. Midgar high is a strange school for most people, but to Cloud, it's very normal. Students bully other students, students date other students and teachers, schools fight other schools in death battles.......what its a normal school carry on. Cloud is heading to his class when he bumped into a girl and fell on his ass. He groans in pain and is about to yell at the girl when he stoped when it was a short black hair and black eyes, slightly dark skin freaking out about dropping Cloud on the ground. Yazmine Mercy is an abnormal girl in this school, she comes from an abnormal family, however, no one knows her that well. They only they know of her is that she's mute, lives with her boyfriend, and is friends with Squall..........SHE FRIENDS WITH SQUALL! 

Cloud: Hey, I'm fine Yazzy I'm not hurt, see. 

Cloud shows the distressed girl that he's alright physically, he is not emotionally. The mute girl sighs with relief and finally stops shacking...wait she was shaking? 

Cloud: Why is she shaking I just fell. That's all. Hey you alright Yazzy? 

Yazzy nods and smiles calmly. That's when the bell of the school rings. 

Cloud: Shit I'll be late for class if I don't run now! I have to go now, bye! 

Cloud makes it to class on time to bump into the very person he's been trying to avoid for 2 summers, Squall. He fell yet again on his ass, but this was worse than Yazzy's bump, he definitely broke something from this fall. Most of the class laughed at Cloud, especially Seifer Almasy, his disowned little brother. Yup that's right Seifer is one of Cloud's little brothers, he was disowned due to his mother and him bulling the other siblings. He's laughing at the blonde, and his posses are laughing as well. Cloud slowly gets up and Squall helps him up.
