scared to go back

you woke up in the nurse office hours later. it was dark, so you assumed that it was already really late. you didn't remember what happened or how you got here, stress overtook your brain again, you started to overthink.

was i hurt ? what happened ?? what time is it ?? father will be mad..

as you were on your urge to cry, someone entered the room, their steps were loud but heavy, you panicked, started to touch the covers of the hospital bed.
-oh you are finally awake !! said a woman, her voice was very gentle.

as she came closer you saw your school nurse, she was young,tall, beautiful, and of course, she was the only person in this world that actually cared about you. some people said that she would be a top model, which is true, but she always says that she loves helping children.
and with a hot nurse like that there were old married male teachers who wanted her in bed.

she came closer and sat on the chair next to the bed. she looked at you deep in your eyes and asked:
-are you feeling okay ?
you nodded.
you were still curious how you got here or who brought you here.

-dont worry i wrote to your father that you just had a lot of homework and that you will come later. she was the only one who knew your problems, she was the light in your dark tunnel.
the stress left your body, not all but an amount that made you feel relived.
-i have to get going, i can't waste time.. you said as you started to pack your things, hurrying.

you were scared to go back home. a place where people felt safe, but not you.

you took all your stuff and without saying goodbye to the nurse you ran out of the school, as fast as you could.

how would father react ??

you were in front of your doorway, you heard screams coming out of there, the more you stood in front of the door the more scared you got, you could feel your arms, the were very light, your head started spinning you thought that this would be the worst day of your life , but you still decided to go in...

as you entered it smelled like alcohol and smoke, you were used to that smell, but you hated it the most, because it reminded you of your abusive father.

-you are late y/n. your father screamed, because his football game was loud, and your sisters baby was crying

-i'm sorry father. you said as you bowed

-yeah a sorry is not enough you piece of shit!!! he said while standing up and walked towards you, the stress was back, in this situation people usually faint because of stress, or they would run away and call the police, but you knew if you fainted again, what things your father will do to your body...

your mother was like always in the bathroom, crying. you felt hopeless, you wished you can just disappear.

suicide started to be the best idea.

you were sure that your heart skipped a beat, maybe even more, and then he slapped you. your cheek was burning, rage started to overfill your body, you started to look at your father with eyes that were filled with hatred, you regretted that later on...

-YOU SHOULD RESPECT ME AFTER ALL THE THINGS THAT IVE DONE FOR YOU, YOU ARE JUST YOUR MOTHER, WEAK AND A LOSER. he said and pushed you to the floor, you landed on your butt against a glass beer bottle, and seconds later you were bleeding.

-GO TO YOUR ROOM NOW!!!!!!

you didn't even hesitate, your room was the only place where you were safe from him. your room was very tiny, it wasn't a room from the start, it was a laundry room, you had a bed and a table, you didn't need anything else. you disinfected your cuts, the weren't that deep, so they didn't hurt a lot.  you looked at the time and it was already 11 pm, so you decided to go to bed crying, again.

-i wish i wasn't even born you said while sobbing.
