"wait y/n! can we play again tomorrow? please?" , "hunter, im leaving tomorrow, i'll promise to come back soon okay?"

which was actually never true. I was at least 7 or 8 at the time and I wasn't sure if i'd actually go back to thailand to see him. however, i didn't go back. we both didn't have phones, so we didn't have any connection to each other. hunter and I were best friends when we were little, i'd used to go to thailand three times a year because I had family over there but, I haven't gone since. I really wish I knew why but I dont. im in korea, and im 18, so it's been a really long time since i've seen hunter. at least 10 years. knowing he debuted and all, I wondered if he still thought about me. I mean surely he could've, right? at least at one point he could have. or not... but im in korea for now, and im really just wondering now, if i'll see him. i thought the chances would be low, but I shouldn't be so negative about that. my other worry is if I do see him and be like "oh hey hunter remember me? y/n!" and just for him to look and stare at me like I was crazy and had very bad memory about the people I meet. but that was just one of MANY worst case scenarios... but it would be nice to see him again and re-connect with him. I really miss talking to him, and it's been insanely long. so for now, im just on a lookout for my childhood best friend, hunter. and before you think anything NO IM NOT A STALKER I SWEAR!!

"are you sure your actually going to find him y/n?" my friend aran said through the phone. "surely, it'll be worth the try aran. im telling you!" , "okaaayyy y/n, well then call me when you find him, I guess!" she said sarcastically as I rolled my eyes. "well im gonna go take a walk to the park, i'll update you after, cya aran." , "cya, y/n. stay safe!!!" she said as I hung up. I took my coat and bag and left the front door on my way to the park.

3rd person pov:

"yechan.. do you think i'll actually see her again?" , "hunter, you've been saying that for the past month! your getting your hopes up at this point." he said dramatically "ugh.. I hate to say your right. you know, im just gonna go get some air and go to the park. tell the other members, i'll be baaaaackkk!!" hunter said as he walked out the door with his coat.

1st person pov:

the wind blew through your hair as you walked your way to the park closest to your house. once you arrived you sat down on a bench near the entrance. you watched as the cutest puppies ran around everywhere along with little kids. "hah, how cute." you mumbled, then you glanced over to the other side of the park to see someone who looked oddly familiar. you squinted to get a good look at him then you realized. "oh my word."

3rd person pov:

hunter walked into the park standing around just breathing in and out air watching puppies run around. "awww puppiessssss" he said out loud. then who looked up to see a familiar face sitting on the bench looking right back at him . you both would say at the same time.

as you both slowly crept towards each other than finally got close enough realizing, yall had found each other.

1st person pov:

you poked his cheek to see if it was for sure him then you finally said.. "HUNTER!" and you both crashed into each others arms. he felt so warm, considering it is cold. you finally let go, "gosh, hunter i've been looking so long for you and now.. your here, finally.", "im really glad your here y/n, i've been thinking about you for a really long time and now that im here with you im just so grateful." he said looking down to you. "hunter i- im really sorry for leaving you.  8 year old me really lied to you after I said i'd promise to come back, I should've known I-" "y/n, it's okay. now is not the time to apologize. let's just appreciate each other." he said reassuringly. I smiled at him. i've never felt so happy. "I think now that your here I should be a gentleman and treat you to something, right?" he says, "no no hunter, I should get going actually, but i'll give you my number so we can text each other." I said as a wrote my number on a sticky note. "here." I handed it to him. "ooh.. I should get going too. my members are waiting for me." , "your members-? oh WAIT! I totally forgot you debuted, but i am super proud of you by the way despite the fact I forgot..." I said awkwardly. he laughed it off, "okay well im gonna get going. It was so lovely finally seeing your beautiful self y/n, i'll text you later. bye love!" he pecked my cheek, "bye hunter!" I said blushing and smiling softly as we both parted ways. oh my GOSH!? just wait till aran hears this I thought smiling.

5 minutes later...

I arrived at home taking off my coat and bag then ran to my room and screamed into my pillow. I rolled over and picked up my phone about to call aran but then I thought to myself, maybe i'll just tell her tomorrow so she'll be even more shocked. hahahah.. I can just imagine the look on her face when i'll tell her. YES!!!!! this was exactly what I was looking forward to. definitely luck, but this was the best thing that ever happened to me. I put on my pajamas ready to go to bed knowing i'll have the best sleep of my life. finally, my worries are gone about reuniting with him, I would've never expected today would be the day but it was. I turned off my light and said myself goodnight. as I went to sleep I kept reminding myself , I had reunited with my childhood best friend, hunter.
