    As Hermione expected, almost all of them were begging for a hungover brew, and Lilly as expected was already making them. That gave her time to get ready for the day, little Lilly was begging to leave still in her Pajamas "Come on Monkey" Hermione said picking her up to get her dressed.

    "Can we go now!" Lilly said in her sassy little voice, everyone eating breakfast laughed at her impatientness, which she got from Harry. They stood in the fireplace dropping a bit of the soot and saying "Diagon Alley" The fire rose and they were off to Diagon Alley.

    "Come on Mommy!" Lilly yelled pulling Hermione by one finger because her hands were so small. Hermione ran dodging the crowd trying to keep up with her youngest daughter, who was heading straight for the pet store. 'No!' Hermione thought, she had promised her anything she wanted.

    Lilly ran in looking at all of the amazing creatures,  admiring them all. That Hermione didn't know who she got that from, Hermione only had a cat which died a few years before Lilly was born. 

    "Lills why don't we get you a new a new book or something?" Hermione asked her as she pet one of the rats, "no thank you, Mommy" she said shaking her blonde curls. "Do you want a dog?" she asked her, "yes pwease" there was nothing to stop her.

    "Which one?" Hermione asked her, she pointed to a large border collie mix puppy, "Oh baby that puppy is going to get really big and it's going to be very hard to take care of her." Lilly pushed her finger to Hermione's lips as she stared at the puppy putting a hand on the glass, the puppy did the same. Hermione's heart melted at the puppy, how hard could it be to take care of her?

    "Ok, let's go get our shopping done first and get lunch and ice cream before getting the puppy." Lilly was satisfied now that she was getting her puppy. They went to Florean Fortescue's ice cream shop for Hermione's salted Caramel blondie and Lilly's chocolate and raspberry ice cream.

    Hermione stopped to grab a new broom-cleaning kit for Teddy before he goes off to live with Remus and Tonks, new cauldrons for James and Remus for the new school year, new Quills for Ginny and herself. Then it was time to go and adopt the puppy, she bought everything they needed for the dog and then the dog.

    She was very well behaved and was great with Lilly, 'thank god' she thought to herself. And after a long day they were finally going home.
