The Elemental Masters are chatting amongst themselves when Clouse's voice breaks the silence. "Welcome to Chen's Island. The tournament of Elements welcomes its brave fighters. Master Chen will be pleased you've returned. Sensei Garmadon.

"The pleasure is all mine, Clouse."

Clouse scoffs "I'm sure it is."

As Clouse walks away Jay turns towards Garmadon. "Definitely feeling some tension between you two."

Kai interrupts. "Yeah, and how is it we're on an island I've never seen on any map?"

Cole pushes Kai aside. "And care to explain how the face to Ninjago's most popular noodle house is secretly assembling an underground fighting tournament?"

"Master Chen used to be a friend. Now he's a traitor. During the Serpentine Wars, Chen turned against his own kind and sided with the treacherous snakes."

"The battle you and Uncle Wu fought together in? He was an enemy?"

"He used deception to divide the Elemental Masters. We barely defeated the Serpentine , and in a deal for his surrender, Chen was to never leave this island. Little did we know, he'd begin to build his criminal Empire."

"He may have divided our ancestors, but he's not gonna divide us."

The masked female starts to walk towards the exit of the boat. Kai blushes as he pushes aside the other Ninja. "Uh...ladies first."

She scoffs at him as she exits the boat. "Fire will melt her icy heart. Just wait." Kai smirks as the others roll their eyes. The Ninja takes notice of her immediate chatting with another male Elemental Master.

"You think they know each other?"

"Heyyyy Uncle!" Neuro sighs in annoyance as he turns around. "Hello Lydia..."

"Awww! Don't be so cold! Are you still mad about last time?"

"Of course I'm still mad! You pushed me down a flight of stairs!"

"You're such a baby! Besides I told you not to read my mind!"

"You were acting suspicious as hell!"

"IT WAS BECAUSE OF THE SUPRISE PARTY, WHICH YOU RUINED BY THE WAY!!!!"

The master of form takes notice of the loud yelling and turns towards the voice, her face annoyed as she looks at Lydia. Lydia takes notice of this and walks up to the master of form.

"Oh no..."

"You got somethin to say?!?

"Uh yeah, you're really loud and annoying."

"You don't have a right to talk! It looks like the color purple vomited all over you! And what the hell is what that outfit?!? You're going to a tournament not some fancy party!"

"The hell did you say?!?"

"You heard me-"

Neuro grabs Lydia holding her back, he nervously laughs. "Alright that's enough of that! Sorry about my niece!" He walks away dragging Lydia into the palace with them.

(P.O.V)

The elemental Master's are all sitting in a circle in the palace. Lydia takes the seat next to Cole, making him immediately tense up. Lydia takes notice of this and smiles under the mask, as she waves at him. He nervously waves back.

"You never told me you had a Sensei. Lloyd turns his attention to his father.

"When I was your age, I sought a darker means of guidance. He taught me to win at all cost, no matter who I hurt. It wasn't until you saved me that I saw the light.
