Lydia sat silently on the bed in her assigned sleeping quarters. She started at her split mask with a saddened look on her face. She traced the markings that were hand carved into the mask before hugging the two separate pieces tightly. Her Uncle sat on in a nearby chair with a sad and pitiful expression of his face. He had brought her here after he had used some of his sleeping powder to knock her out, thank god he did. She wouldn't be able to live with herself if she took even so much as one more innocent life. Sure she did the occasional harm to those who she seemed fit, like the elemental master of speed, she didn't want to but she needed an ally. She would never make her powers go as far as to kill somebody, not again...
Just then a knock on the door was heard, Lydia quickly put on a white blindfold to cover her eyes, red from all the tears she had cried over her mask and over her past. Neuro went to open the door and he saw the master of Earth, Cole. "May I help you?" Neuro was clearly on the defensive, especially since everyone knew about Lydia's past now, he wasn't sure if they were going to hunt her or not. "I just wanted to come get you both, everyone is gathering up outside." Neuro nodded. "I see, Thank you." He quickly shut the door on the master of Earth before he could say another word.
(Cole's POV)
Cole was surprised at the sudden slam of the door, he wanted to talk to Lydia and see how she was feeling. He turned away from the door, feeling slightly defeated as he walked downstairs to meet everyone else, hoping to see her there later. He arrived outside to see others cheering.
"Yeah!" Griffin was cheering as the master of nature began to use his powers. "Sink the ferry! No one's getting off this island!" Jay pointed at the master of Nature as he used his powers to drag the ferry down into the water with some vines.
Cole walked towards the group of Ninja. "The palace and sleeping quarters are all clear. Still no sign of Chen and Clouse."
"What about Skylar?" Kai seemed genuinely worried, he had grown close to her. Lloyd put a hand on his friend's shoulder reassuringly "She wasn't able to pick her family, but she was able to pick her friends. And since you're her friend, that means so are we. We'll find her." Cole chimed in. "He's right. With no way off the island, it'll only be a matter of time"
"I'm proud of you five. You've done what the original Elemental masters never could: stick together. But you must not rest on your laurels, for your guard is down when you sleep." Garamadon said warmly.
Lloyd walked up to Cole. "How is she?" Cole sighed in return. "I'm not sure she'll ever want to come out again, not that I can blame her with him around..." Cole shot a cold glare at Garmadon.
(Nuero's POV)
"Skylor's sending me a message! We have to tell the ninja!" Nuero told Griffin the message so he could quickly tell them. Griffin quickly used his super speed to immediately run over to the Ninja.
"Chen just figured out Skylor's powers can finish the spell. She's in danger." Griffin arrived, out of breath.
"He's replaced his Elemental staff with the Elements in his daughter."
Kai had a fire in his eyes. "Where?"
"Other side of the side of the island.
"I'm going after her."
"We all are. Jay, Zane, you take the mech and buggy. Cole and I will take the root jet. Lloyd, you've got your dragon." Garmadon turned towards Nya. "Nya, how fast she will go?"
"Fast enough."
"Everyone else stay here and guard the camp. Let's get a move on!" They all headed out.
