It was deep blue and serene like another world inside of a dream where the r.e.m. seemed like another chapter of reality but feeling like facing the waves alone was like swimming through the clouds as I waited to be the one who would find me and you even though sometimes we feel like running away from the close and empty spaces in my mind.
It was deep and blue
And surreal
Like another open source
That was closed
But opened up
Once we let those words of the living inside the closed spaces of my mind be exposed to the light of the universe
Even though we only seem to see it through our r.e.m. eyes.

Like another world
Just between you and I
But half of the time I feel like it is more of us living inside the close spaces of our minds.
