Andrew is still reeling from the guilt of killing his neighbours.

"I don't know how I'm going to live with this," Andrew said, his voice shaking. "I killed innocent people. I'm a monster."

"You're not a monster," Jacob replied, taking Andrew's hand. "You made a mistake, but you can learn from it and grow. And I'll be here every step of the way to help you."

Andrew looked at Jacob, feeling a sense of gratitude and admiration for him. Despite everything that had happened, Jacob had always been there for him and had never given up on him.

"Thank you," Andrew said, tears welling up in his eyes. "I don't know what I would do without you."

Jacob leaned in and kissed Andrew softly, sending a shiver down his spine. "You'll never have to find out," he whispered.

As they pulled away, a loud banging on the door interrupted them. They both tensed up, knowing that they could be in danger.

Jacob looked at Andrew with concern etched on his face. "We need to get out of here, Andrew," he said urgently. "Lucy Haywood is the leader of the Vampire Hunters, and she's more dangerous than George. If she gets her hands on you, there's no telling what she'll do."

Andrew nodded, feeling the weight of the situation pressing down on him. "What do we do?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

"We go on the run," Jacob replied. "I know some safe places we can go to, places where Lucy won't be able to find us."

Andrew looked at him gratefully, feeling a surge of emotion coursing through him. "Thank you, Jacob," he said softly. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

Jacob smiled at him, his eyes warm and tender. "You don't have to worry about that," he said. "I'll always be here for you, no matter what."

They gathered their belongings and left the safehouse, moving swiftly and silently through the darkened streets. Andrew couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched, that Lucy's hunters were tracking them. He knew they had to be careful, had to stay hidden if they wanted to survive.

As they moved through the city, Jacob kept a vigilant eye out for any signs of danger. Andrew could see the strain etched on his face, the way he tensed up every time they heard a sound in the distance.

Finally, after what seemed like hours, they arrived at a small, rundown hotel on the outskirts of town. Jacob led Andrew inside, where they rented a room for the night.

As they settled in, Jacob took Andrew's hand and looked at him intently. "I won't let anything happen to you, Andrew," he said firmly. "I promise."

Andrew felt a rush of warmth flood through him, the knowledge that he had Jacob by his side making him feel safe and protected. He leaned in and kissed Jacob softly, feeling the weight of their shared experiences and emotions in the touch of their lips.

They held each other tightly, feeling the world fall away around them. For a moment, everything was perfect, everything was right. But they both knew that they couldn't stay like this forever, that they had to keep moving, keep running from the hunters who were hot on their trail.

Jacob introduced Andrew to Ethan and Becky, explaining their history together. Andrew was hesitant at first but warmed up to them after learning about their experiences as vampires.

Ethan and Becky offered to help Jacob and Andrew, as they knew the dangers of being a rogue vampire. They suggested that they join their own clan, as it would provide protection and a sense of community. Andrew was hesitant, but Jacob saw the potential benefits and was open to the idea.

Over the next few days, Ethan and Becky helped train Andrew in controlling his bloodlust and honing his vampiric abilities. They also taught him about the history and politics of the vampire world, and how to navigate it safely.

Andrew slowly began to feel more comfortable with the idea of joining the clan, but still had reservations. He didn't want to give up his independence, and was worried about being controlled by others.

One night, while on a hunting trip with Jacob, Andrew stumbled upon a group of rogue vampires attacking a human. Jacob and Andrew fought them off, but not before the human was badly injured.

This event solidified Andrew's decision to join the clan. He didn't want to be a part of the violence and chaos that rogue vampires brought upon the world. He wanted to use his abilities to protect and help others.

Together, Jacob and Andrew joined Ethan and Becky's clan. They were welcomed with open arms and began to build a new life for themselves in the vampire world. They still faced challenges and dangers, but they had each other and their new clan to rely on.

Andrew was fascinated by Ethan and Becky's stories about their long lives and the different places they have been. He asked them about their experiences with love and relationships, and how they have maintained their connection throughout the centuries.

Becky smiled at Andrew and said, "Love is timeless, Andrew. It doesn't matter how long you've been together, as long as you continue to cherish and support each other."

Ethan added, "It's not easy being a vampire, but having someone by your side makes all the difference. I'm lucky to have Becky, and I hope you find someone like that too."

Andrew looked at Jacob and felt a warm feeling in his chest. He knew that Jacob was the person he wanted to spend eternity with. "I already have someone like that," he said, smiling at Jacob.

Jacob looked back at Andrew with a soft smile. "I'm glad to hear that, Andrew. You're the one I want to be with too."

Lucy Haywood barged in and the atmosphere suddenly became tense. Before anyone could say anything, Lucy staked Ethan with an efficiency that Andrew had never seen before. The sight of Ethan turning into dust made Andrew feel sick to his stomach.

Lucy sickeningly twisted the stake in her hand, grinning at the others. "So, who's next?"

Becky, Jacob, and Andrew quickly made their escape at a lighting speed. As they ran, Becky and Jacob filled Andrew in on who Lucy was and what she had been doing. They told him how Lucy was the leader of the vampire hunters and how she had made it her mission to hunt down and destroy any and all vampires she came across.

Andrew couldn't believe what he was hearing. He knew that the supernatural world was dangerous, but he never imagined that there were people like Lucy who were so hellbent on destroying them. He was also filled with a sense of dread, knowing that Lucy was now aware of their existence and would stop at nothing to eliminate them.

As they kept running, Andrew could feel his heart racing and his mind working overtime. He knew that they needed to come up with a plan and fast if they wanted to stay alive.
