I turn on my laptop settling myself on the bed . Finally I feel a sense of belonging at my own house .
I find a notification regarding a post on DEU's official page .
My eyes turn double the size when I find a letter of apology.

This is an official public apology to Miss Inayat Goenka daughter of Mr Arvind Goenka from the Dream Elite University, India for facing heinous Bullying at our campus during her studies . You are a brilliant and precious student for our institution and we can't afford to loose such a bright girl . We have restigated all the students who were involved in the act of Bullying and Mr. Shivay Raichand has made sure that none of their relatives or friends stay at the University any longer .
We are really really sorry for all the time you've faced any cruelty.

I know shruti did this because the letter has been signed by Shivay's dad . She didn't need to do any of this but ofcourse she's overprotective.

The videos of Bullying have also been taken down and when I open the comment section there are comments like .

She should have been brave .

Woah the apology is directly from The Tanmay Raichand , the upcoming PM. That really says something .

Mess with this girl again and you're done for .

I really feel sad for her .

It is good that they apologized .

I shut my laptop and sigh . There is a missed call on my phone from Tanmay uncle apart from thousands of missed calls from my friends . I'll talk to him later . He cares about shru the most and he always takes out time from his busy schedule to for her .

I hear a lot of noises from downstairs and when I walk to my balcony there are about eight nine cars outside.

" Inayat " I hear Zara and suddenly the door opens and she barges in . Without wasting another second she hugs me and Breaks down in tears .

"I'm really really sorry for everything. I'm really sorry Inu . It was all my fault ." She cries and I caress her back.

"It wasn't your fault "

"I'm not talking about the Bullying "

"You k-know " she looks at me with wide eyes when all other girls walk inside . So everyone has come . Ishani is the only one who smiles and her smile brings happiness.

"I got a call from Vamika , earlier I thought there is someone who hates me but I was wrong , there is someone who wanted to be you , who wanted Zain " I look at the ground and she cups my face .

"I'm sorry " she hugs me again . Soon after that Shivay , Archit , Devansh and Abhimanyu walk in . I don't even think my room can accommodate so many people at the same time . Although it is pretty large . My eyes are fixed at the door still but then shru hugs me .

"I'm sorry " she whispers.
"You don't be sorry because you did all you could "
Strolling towards shivay I smile " thank you" .

He hugs me from the side and questions "Did my old man call you , he was quite worried "he chuckles.

"He did but I missed it . I'll call him later. I see my friend is making you a good guy " I laugh while Shruti's face turns pale.

"Ofcourse " he looks with a very strange expression towards Shru but she shifts her focus away.

After that archit pats on my head and hugs me "you know it wasn't her fault "

I nod with a smile while he voices again " you have every right to be mad at Zain but Zara did not do anything Wrong "

"I know but Why didn't he come "I ask pulling away from him .

"He totally did" Ishani smiles and points out of my window . When I look down , he's standing at the road leaning against his car with his arms crossed in front .

I rush downstairs and on my way I find my mom directing a few househelps towards my room to server drinks and food .

"Inu, inu " she grabs my arm.

"I'm in a hurry mom " I voice but she kisses my forhead and speaks "your dad and I saw the post online . Are you okay ?"

"I'm totally cool, I'll be right back " I start to walk away but she pulls me back "who is the handsome guy standing outside? Is he your boyfriend? Is he--- "

"Mom , let me call him inside at least " I smile and she nods.

When I reach the driveway, he looks at me and keeps standing there like a stone.

Stupid ...!

"Won't you hug me or anything ?" I question walking towards him .

He looks at me with distress and side hugs me. Why is he behaving so cold ?

"I'm sorry about everything " he kneels down in front of me . I look up to find the girls gaping down from the window.

"Zain get up " I grab his arm and take him to the front garden when we take seat on the benches .

"You don't need to apologize" I smile and he huffs.

" yeah , I shouldn't be apologizing now . " He looks at the sky .

"What is wrong with you "

"I am wrong Coco, I have always been wrong for you. I'm sorry for everything, for coming into your life" he gets up while I look at him with wide eyes . He sighs "I will never see you again , stay happy "

"Are you crazy or what " I yell .

"I'll go back home and see dad's mafia business . I'm sorry for all of it "he begins walking as tears pool in my eyes.

"If you go away today , I swear I'll hate you forever . I'll forget about you Zain . I'll remove you from my life forever "

He doesn't turn around and gets into his car . I sit on the bench and break down in tears.

"Why ? Why did he have to do this now ? "
