Eddie's POV:
I was getting dressed and ready for school when I heard a notification on my phone. I quickly walked over to my side draw where my phone was sitting and picked it up. I opened my phone and clicked on the message seeing that it was from Gaege.
Cutie: I won't be at school today sorry :(
Eddie: That's alright. Can we hang out on the weekend or something?
Cutie: Yeah, of course. I just have to stay home and take care of my little brother.
Eddie: Good luck! Love you babe!
Cutie: Love you too! Also, one last thing. Could you hang out with Josh today? I don't want Mully to hurt him.
Eddie: Of course! Your friends are my friends after all.
Cutie: That's so sweet. But what about Grant and Mully?
Eddie: Fuck them. If they want to bully my boyfriend's friend, then they might as well lose a friend. You and Josh are more important than them.
Cutie: Your just too sweet. Have a fun day at school with Josh!
Eddie: I will!
I turned my phone off and put it in my pocket before going downstairs to grab my car keys from off the hook on the fridge. I said goodbye to my parents before walking outside and unlocking my black supra mk4 and hopped in. I put the key in the ignition and turned it so the car would start. I then put my foot on the accelerator and put the gear shift in drive. Soon enough I was driving to school. When I arrived at school, I parked my car in a free spot and grabbed my bag from off the passenger seat before climbing out of the car and walking into the school. I put my bag before grabbing my stuff and walking to class. I saw Josh so I decided to sit next to him.
"Hey Josh. How are you today?" I asked and he shrugged his shoulders as he frowned at me.
"Bad. Gaege isn't here today which makes it easier for Mully to bully me." He replied and I frowned before smiling again. I tried to act like I had only just came up with an idea even though Gaege had asked me to do it.
"I can hang out with you today." I said and he smiled at me, his eyes lighting up a little bit.
"Are you sure? Won't Mully be angry?" He asked and I shrugged my shoulders not honestly caring what Mully would think.
"Possibly but I don't care. You don't deserve to be bullied." I replied and he smiled at me before looking back down at his work.
Gaege's POV:
I was at home taking care of my younger five-year-old brother since my mum had to go to the hospital due to an incident that had happened this morning. She had been getting ready to take me to school when she had slipped on one of my brother's toys and snapped her arm. The sound was so loud it made me feel like throwing up. I was a little sad since I wanted to be at school with Eddie, but we'd be able to hang out on the weekend.
"I'm hungry." My brother whined and I rolled my eyes.
"What do you want to eat?" I asked and he tugged on my arm and I got off the couch so he could lead me to the kitchen. He opened the pantry and pointed at some cookies. I shook my head.
"No Ethan, you know you're not allowed to eat those." I said sternly and he looked up at me with puppy eyes.
"Please Gaege, just one." He begged and I rolled my eyes before reaching my arm up to grab one of the cookies. I then handed it to him, and he smiled at me.
"Thanks Gaege, your the best big brother ever." He said before running off to the loungeroom. I smiled as I walked out of the pantry and shut the door. I then picked up my phone which I had left on the bench and unlocked it. I saw a message from Eddie, so I clicked on it.
