Arcade

Gaege's POV:

I was woken up by my brother yelling at something downstairs. I groaned before slowly getting up and slipping on one of my hoodies. I then went downstairs to see what my brother was yelling about. 

"Morning Mum, what's Ethan yelling about?" I asked as I sat on a stool beside the bench. My mum looked at me with a tired expression. 

"He's yelling because I said we couldn't go to McDonalds." My mum replied as she handed me a plate with two slices of strawberry jam toast. I slowly nodded my head as I took a bite of one of the pieces of toast.

"Can I go out with a few friends today?" I asked as I took another bite. My mum slowly nodded her head.

"I don't see why not. Who are you going with?" My mum asked as she looked at me. 

"Eddie and Josh." I replied and she nodded her head. My brother yelled something from the loungeroom so she walked off to deal with him. I continued to eat my breakfast before going upstairs to check my phone. There was a message from Josh. 

J: Hey boys! What are the plans for today?

G: Maybe we can go out somewhere. Like an arcade or something.

E: An arcade sounds amazing. Should we meet at Josh's?

J: Yeah, meet at mine in half an hour. Then we'll go the arcade in Eddie's car.

G: Alright! See you soon boys. 

I then separately texted Eddie and asked him to pick me up. He agreed and said he'd arrive in 10 so I chucked my phone on the bed so I could get ready. I walked over to my closet and opened it and picked out a black tank top and a white champion hoodie. I then walked over to my wardrobe and picked out a pair of black ripped jeans. I then quickly got dressed before checking my phone. 

SexyMex: I'm out the front waiting for you.

Gaege: Just come inside. My mum would love to meet you. 

SexyMex: Alright!

I then put my phone in my pocket before grabbing some cash from my draw and running down the stairs. My mum and Eddie were walking to the kitchen, and I joined them. Eddie wrapped an arm around my shoulder as we sat down on a stool each. 

"So, is this is your boyfriend?" My mum asked and I nodded my head as I looked at Eddie. 

"Yes Mum. This is my boyfriend." I replied and she gave Eddie a warm smile. 

"Welcome Eddie. It's amazing to meet you." My mum said still smiling at Eddie. He smiled back. 

"Thanks ma'am. It's amazing to meet you too." He replied extending his arm out for a hand shake. My mum shook it not taking her eyes off Eddie. 

"You got yourself a good one Gaege." My mum said finally looking at me. I felt my face heat up. 

"Yup, anyway we better get going. Don't want to keep Josh waiting." I replied slowly standing up.

"Have fun boys, say hi to Josh for me. Also, Eddie if you're free come over for tea tomorrow." My mum said and he nodded his head before we walked out the door and made our way over to his car. 

Eddie's POV:
*Time skip to when they arrive at the arcade*

After picking up Josh from his house we drove to the arcade. When we arrived I parked my car in a park near the entrance so we didn't have to walk far. We then hopped out of the car and went inside. Josh took the lead as we scanned the arcade, looking at the many games. Gaege took my hand and held it as we looked for a game to play.
