Before we start the 3rd chapter, I would like to explain a little bit about Meiko's quirk, and its side effects.
First of all, the name of her quirk is Deformation, it was also called Atomic Control in the past but that's lore you'll find out in the future.
Basically, her quirk allows her to deform or distort anything or anyone that she touches with her right hand. She can also deform her own body, as you've seen in the past chapters.

Her quirk is sort of similar to Mahito's power from Jujutsu Kaisen. The difference is that Mahito reshapes souls while Meiko reshapes atoms.
She cannot detach or reattach her body parts or the body parts of others, if she does, it would be permanent damage. She can however, as long as she does it properly, elongate or shorten limbs and return them to normal without harm.

She can also deform atmospheric properties or the air's contents. However, she cannot totally remove a certain air content. For example, she can alter the oxygen in the air, but she can't remove all of the oxygen. So far, she can take away enough oxygen to slowly suffocate a person in more or less, 7 minutes.

She also cannot create something from nothing, she can only alter a certain thing to resemble another thing, but the larger and more complex the object is, the more time it takes to deform it.

So in general, she can change anything that has atoms.

Now, the side effect of her quirk, and I'm not sure if you guys can already tell, is memory loss. The more she uses her quirk, the more lapses are created in her memory. Her mind is also affected in a way where another side effect is hallucinations or remembering and experiencing things that actually didn't happen. Due to this, her personality changes often, and she has intense mood swings. She can't remember what her original personality was, and she doesn't know exactly who she is, so she tries her best to be a cheerful and friendly person.

So all her quirk's abilities:
1: She can deform anyone or anything she touches with her right hand.
2. She can temporarily seal a wound. As long as the wound isn't too big, she can close the wound to stop the bleeding.
3. She can alter the air's content and air properties, but cannot totally remove or summon it.
4. And lastly, she can alter an object to duplicate another object.

Just as her quirk allows her to distort anything, her quirk distorts her memory in return.

The morning was bright and vivid, the sun blinding Meiko's eyes as she walked down the street. 
She always minded her own business when going anywhere, especially the train station.

Currently, she was listening to a couple of songs through her headphones when someone harshly rammed their shoulder into Meiko's as they were passing by.
Her eyes widened and she immediately looked around to see who rudely bumped into her.

Spikey blond hair.

She thinned her eyes in irritation as she paused the song she was playing and removed the headphones from her head.
"Excuse you? Sir, you had the entire sidewalk and you just had to bump into me." They were walking, not by side to side though. More like, Meiko was stomping behind him.
"Oh, I'm sorry. You were so pale I saw right through you, just like a ghost." Katsuki turned around and smirked mischievously at Meiko.
