It was a sunny day in the neighborhood. Wally had just woken up.

"Good morning Home!" Wally said to his very much alive house.  The creak of the house signaled their hellos. Wally headed out to do his daily greeting, of course after using 3 bottles of hairspray on his signature curl, and saying goodbye to home.

Wally's POV:

I started my journey towards Frank's house. He's usually a quiet fellow, so it would be a good start to the day. I do my signature knock of course, signalling that I'm at the door. Frank doesn't like me as much as Eddie or Julie, but under that hard shell he can be just a sweetheart. Eddie was there with him, meaning he left it at my mailbox when I usually pick it up. I wasn't a fan of the schedule change, but I tried not to care very much. After stopping by Julie's, Sally's, Poppy's, Skipping Eddie's, and seeing Howdy, (snuck an apple) It was finally time to go to My best friend's house, Barnaby!

Barnaby's POV:

I was just angling my hat when I heard a slow, loud 3 knocks. It must be Wally at the door! I hurry to my living room, opening my dotted door, and scooping Wally into a big hug. After putting him down I ushered him in, and carried him onto my big couch, going limp in my paws. He readjusted himself onto my couch, which was way to big for him. I would have a lovely chat with him, but I had more important things to say to him.

Wally's POV:

Barnaby looked nervous... 'Was I making him nervous? Why would he be nervous? Did I do something wrong? Was I-' "Wally." Barnaby interrupted. I put on a brave and unknowing face. "Yes Barnaby?" I said in my normal, almost too monotone voice." So, my mom is coming over for the spring, just next week. I didn't want to be the only one with my parents here so... could you invite yours?" I can't identify this emotion. Fear? maybe. Barnaby, no, nobody knew I was a trans guy. All they knew was Wally Darling. My parents were never the most accepting of it... their gonna rthm ue. Their gonna deadname me. Ijustknowitijustknowitijust- "Wally?" I realize I've been very silent.  "I'm sorry, guess I was thinking about... if your mom and my mom will get along." I lie. I have to continue, or he'll feel bad for my doubt. " I mean, they'll get along, but..." "If you don't want to invite your parents that's fine." he halfheartedly tries to reassure...

"Can I borrow your phone?"

Hello everyone! 1st chapter completed. I don't know when I will update but I'll try not to take too long. I noticed Wally here doesn't have enough angst, so  I took it into my own hands! Have a wonderful day or night!
