"I-Indra!" Megumi sobbed and embraced me in a hug that I truly believe is secretly an assasination attempt with how tight it is.
"We see each other everyday, Megumi... This isn't the end of the world."
"B-But, I want to go to the same school as you! I want to walk to school together, eat lunch together, study together and all that stuff!"
Megumi's a little emotional today because she will be graduating from elementary school and moving on to junior high. Despite being so far behind her other schoolmates, she managed to improve her academics to an incredibly high degree in the short time she was enrolled, graduating at the top of her year.
"You can still do all of those, right, Miyahara-senpai? Even though you will be in different school's, you still get to see Indra everyday." Kyoka reminded her.
"You, shut up!" Megumi stomped towards Kyoka and got uncomfortably close to her face. "Just because I'm gone now, doesn't mean you can have Indra all to yourself... You have not gotten past his sister... If you do anything to Indra or so help me god, I will hunt you down..."
"I-I understand!" Kyoka ran away from Megumi and hid behind me.
"Now, now, stop threatening Jiro-chan, Megumi. She's still way too young to be thinking about that and the same goes to you." Mom said.
"I can't believe you're graduating already, Megumi-senpai! It feels like yesterday when Indra kidnapped you!" Nejire said.
"I did not kidnap her. I brought her in."
Still, time really does fly fast. I wonder where I'll be in a few years time. When I first met Megumi, she was very cold and closed off. She's still cold and closed off, but only to outsiders now.
"Have you thought about which junior high you'll be enrolling in, Megumi?"
"Uh, not really. I'll probably just go to Ikeda Junior High, since it's the closest. Then, I can walk Indra to school everyday!"
"I don't recommend that. You'll be late everyday if that's the case."
"Who cares about that, mom? All that matters is your grades, isn't it? I can easily score well."
"Your behaviour greatly affects your chances of enrolling into UA. That's where you want to go, right? If you want to get there, you need to make some sacrifices."
"Damn it..."
She should just give up by now. There's more practical and better decisions she should take. Megumi's academics and proficiency in using her quirk should be good enough to get her enrolled in UA, provided she keeps improving at the same pace.
"M-Miyahara-san!" A boy from the same year as Megumi emerged from behind a trees and nervously walked up to her.
"What is it, Ohashi?"
"W-Wait! Why is All Might and Paragon here!?"
"Don't shout! Others will hear you!"
We had picked Megumi up from school somewhere secluded, away from the main entrance to prevent others from finding out, due to the commotion it will inevitably cause.
"S-Sorry... I'm just a huge fan. But still, why are they here? Are you related to them?"
"They're my mother and brother."
"W-Woah, I didn't know that. No wonder you're so strong... A-Anyways, Paragon-san, I have a small request, if you would allow it..."
That's not her name... but, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, since it's understandable for him not to know.
