After a few days of rest and a lot of tantrums, Agent Barton was finally good.

And God that was a relief.

Although he himself said that Peter was not the one to blame for what happened and that such things happen in missions sometimes, Peter knew more than surely that it was just another lie he told.

Peter couldn't sleep for long after this happened. Literally due to one simple stupid mistake of his, Clint almost lost his life, or so he thought, due to one mistake of his one more person close to him was about to be dead, due to one mistake of his Parker luck was going to strike off another target.

Was everyone he loved bound to be dead??

Who was gonna be next? Mr. Stark? mamaspider? Cap? Wanda? Dr. Banner? who else? For multiple nights these thoughts kept him awake and infested his sleep with nightmares. He was seeing the entire team dead before his eyes every night and multiple times he found Mr. Stark at his bedside alerted by FRIDAY, he felt so guilty, as because of him, even Mr. Stark was not able to have a decent nights sleep in a few days tony just shrugged it off saying that he is an insomniac anyways but Peter knew that he was suffering. he could observe the coffee intake that rose from 4 cups a day to 7-8 cups a day, tony was getting tired now so peter did the only thing he could think of

That was not sleeping.

It was not like he could sleep for more than 4 hours anyway so this way of sparing Tony. Plus, he got a few extra hours for his homework and other stuff.

Tony even called the entire Barton family to the tower and Clint was thrilled to meet them and introduce Peter to them. Laura and his three kids were liked by all. He had a 10-year-old son a 7-year-old daughter and a 3 year old infant, Cooper, Lila, and Nathaniel respectively.

At night everyone gathered in the living room for a game of Monopoly. Which Bucky won. This game was followed by a game of truth and dare which couldn't have been more eventful.

Mrs. Barton turned out to be an absolute pro at this game, courtesy of whom Peter got to know many embarrassing things about many people.

"Oh !! Back in the day, Bucky was so bad at flirting that he got chased down by a group of women out of a country bar once. At last, he had to pretend that he was gay in order to save himself from them! , believe me, that was the most embarrassed I have ever seen him " told Cap while laughing his heart out.

Miss. Potts said "Oh that's not even close to mine Steve, once when Tony and Rohdey were in MIT they almost got married to each other after drinking alcohol up to the point where they called themselves Cinderella and Prince Charming, they were absolutely refusing to leave each other from a hug and had to be dragged out of the pub and to the hospital by me, because they were vomiting uncontrollably throughout the night. Even the bartender was grossed out. "

After a few very good laughs and some more of such stories, when the turn to ask questions was on Lila and Tony was the one to answer,

Lila asked him what his parents were like.

" Yes Mr. Stark, I am also very curious to know how your parents were, I mean until now, I just kind of assumed that you just phased into existence when everyone was being too dumb and boring," said Peter

" Well... they were ok... normal parents, you know, the 'get good grades and don't mess around with bad stuff ' kind, nothing special just normal parents..." said Tony, but he wasn't his normal self... something was off, everyone noticed, otherwise he would have not commented on the remark Peter gave him before...

"Howard was a very busy man in those days, I knew that he had a son, but I guess he was too far busy to be spending time with you. I saw you in an interview with him once and looked like you loved him very much, but he never had much time, it must be tough having such a busy dad," said Cap.
